Has similar spec's to the LG G4 (Same chip set and memory), at this price i think you get A LOT of phone for your money.
Only negative is there no expandable memory slot.

I had Nexus 4 i always used a screen protector for the back and front and case so it always stayed immaculate for resale purposes. Go to http://www.aliexpress.com/ for these.

3G only, so it doesn't matter!
Plus......Clear cover. Tempered glass protectors (3 as it does not seem to be Gorilla glass on there). USB C cables (3 as the supplied adapter will be gone soon enough). Micro to std USB memory converter (just in case on the memory front, though Xiaomi supply 5Gb cloud storage).
I'll order all of this and then pre-order the Miband 1s and get discount with my points!

That was exactly my decision point as well. i have the nexus 4 which has a glass back and i was forever terrified of breaking (plus this is more powerful)
The black case for this is actually a slate blue/grey rather than black.
As long as the bands all light up for you for 4G all is well. (three is fine)

Well, my daughter has opted for this after a lot of calculating on Gb requirements. She opted not to go for the OnePlus X as there was too much glass on it........ Unfortunately, wanted the blue which puts the price up a bit.

Agreed. You can also use the Mi Pc suite.

The fact that it's got the MIUI Android ROM preinstalled is a big problem. It is a very laggy operating system but more importantly you will find that ad programs are on the phone as "system apps" meaning that they're impossible to remove unless you take the big risk of rooting the device.
I bought a Xiaomi phone from Gearbest with a MIUI operating system and I regret it big time.

What would you recommend up to £150?
I'm looking for a mobile but have a huge problem to chose seeing all these Chinese mobiles. Good ROM will be a problem on each of them. I'm thinking of buying Moto G 3rd gen.

I agree - I liked the MIUI interface but bloody Chinese apps / updates alerting me at 3am and it wouldn't let me uninstall them (at least not easily). Sold it in the end.

It is discussed in other Xiaomi posts here that there is a simple way to cure your problems by downloading the EU Miui 7 and installing it with the app that is on the phone. I don't have one, but I am looking at getting for my daughter.

wow SD808 & dual SIMs ... this would have been perfect for me a few months ago.
Would swap this for my Honor 7 if it had a finger scanner ...

Network incompatibility, fair enough, but basically this is the voice of inexperience. Xiaomi are very good with updates and build quality is fantastic. There may be import duty, but the most I've ever paid us 8 quid on a £140 tablet last year, and that was my own fault for choosing DHL at the checkout. Get one of these and a sim only plan, and you'll never buy another Samsung again.

Smiui lets you cook a custom rom to get rid of the bloat too.

I just had this delivered (2gb version) and it is outstanding.
Great build quality and powerful.
Im on 3 so not having the 800mhz band is not a problem.
Very happy with my buy! I can answer any questions people have if you likr.

Wouldn't recommend this. Could get stung with import duty, VAT and handling charges which could add a good 30% to the price. Then there's warranty and RMA issues if it goes faulty. Network compatibility issues as stated. Don't know how speedy they are with android updates and how long it will be supported for.
Just spend more money and buy yourself the peace of mind if anything

Should point out, though, mine has the global rom and not the Chinese one, so doesn't have any Chinese apps anyway.

I have the Mi4i, also from gearbest and couldn't be happier. I'm amazed at what I got for my money. Don't agree about pre-installed apps or Miui being laggy, though. The phone is a joy to use, works plawlessly on 4G (EE) and all the pre installed apps I haven't needed, I've uninstalled with no issue. I'm unrooted and completely stock.

Kazan... Buying a Elephone P8000 for £116 from a UK Ebay seller getting deliverd tomorrow,3Gb ram full hd and 16Gb storage. The Eragon rom seems to be good and incontinous development, with a good chance of CM12 rom and Marshmallow from Elephone announced.
Might be worth a look, but if more monies available an LG G3 £190 to £200 on Amazon with a great camera is the one to go for.

800mhz, AKA, Super Voice.
Three Users:
"Does your phone work with 4G Super Voice?
However, there is a slight catch. You need a compatible phone in order to use it, and right now, only the Samsung Galaxy S5 and LG G4 support the service, a Three spokesperson confirmed to me. However, Three expects that most current handsets will have the service before the end of the year, including all iPhone 6 models (including the new iPhone 6S and 6S Plus), the Samsung Galaxy S6, S6 Edge, HTC One M9, the Microsoft Lumia 640 and Nokia Lumia 735. Therefore, any handset older than two years, such as the Samsung Galaxy S4, is unlikely to support the service. "

So does this mean it's more of a software issue than a hardware one if phones will be getting updated?
Three 4G Coverage Map
Makes it closer to 160.
Oh, this is a deal for the white one!
(even on 3g?)
Doesn't support 4g band 20 (800mhz)
So won't work in o2 (but they are are rolling out the 1800mhz band in some places)
And three are also using the 800mhz to plug holes in thier 4g coverage
