Cheaper than ever now! I've just re-ordered so the 60€ voucher (paid 50€ and got 10€ voucher) covers the costs plus, there's still 4.30€ left to use.
Keep in mind the price £38.96 was converted by XE.com not automatically by Amazon France's converter so it'll be in euros and as such your bank may charge an abroad fee.
The link you have posted is for the standard edition of the game, this thread is for the limited edition.

That's only providing it ends up at this price, not what it once was, the only way it will happen is if the price is lower on release than when you ordered, otherwise the price doesn't change.

It can be hit and miss if customer service will give you back any promo credit from experience, with uk support anyway. Depends how far your willing to nag and if doing google translate...well it can get a bit messy.
So in that instance you should end up with a partial refund automatically at release, due to the price being lower at some point.

Didn't you take advantage of the free €10 offer on amazon.fr?
You could actually get Xenoblade Chronicles X + €4.30 amazon.fr credit to use in the future for £30 if you're a new Revolut user!
Quick guide:
1. Log in to Amazon.fr and check this page to see if you're eligible for a free €10 when buying a €50 gift card http://www.amazon.fr/b?node=8557298031&ref=fr_gc_nca_dec15_huc
2. If so sign up for a virtual prepaid credit card with Revolut using code 'MSE' (Revolut is a pre-paid virtual credit card that converts currencies at interbank rates with no fees, available on Google play). The MSE code will grant you £5 free credit once you make your first top-up of over £10
3. Check the top up section to see how much £GBP you'll need to convert to €50, top up £5 less than that amount. For example I would currently top up £30, this would give me a total balance of £35 which currently converts to exactly €50. Once topped up convert your £GBP to €50
4. Buy a €50 e-mail gift card at amazon.fr via http://www.amazon.fr/b?node=8557298031&ref=fr_gc_nca_dec15_huc using your Revolut virtual credit card which will grant you a €10 promotional credit code via e-mail (I'm assuming you must activate your offer via this page before buying the gift card, I can't check personally because I'm not eligible for this one but that's how it worked last time)
5. Purchase Xenoblade Chronicles X for a total of €55.70 with shipping using your €50 gift card balance and €10 promotional code, leaving you with €4.30 credit to use on a future order.

For anyone who didn't bother with the pointless 'cancel & re-order' shenanigans I can confirm that (unsurprisingly) Amazon have now automatically adjusted the price on my order to reflect the lowest price as per their 'pre-order lowest price guarantee' without having to contact them.
Gamer_U to bernardsfingers

That's incorrect - it's guaranteed to be the lowest price from the point at which you ordered it.

It should sort itself out when payment is taken (i.e., when the game ships) and leave the €8.09 as an outstanding balance (or if that's coming from a card payment, reduce the payment appropriately).
Alternatively, if you can see the option to re-apply your gift card balance against the order, that should deal with it straight away.

You could actually get Xenoblade Chronicles X + €4.30 amazon.fr credit to use in the future for £30 if you're a new Revolut user!
Quick guide:

3. Check the top up section to see how much £GBP you'll need to convert to €50, top up £5 less than that amount. For example I would currently top up £30, this would give me a total balance of £35 which currently converts to exactly €50. Once topped up convert your £GBP to €50
4. Seems they have added a rule, not updated the T&C. Very odd for Amazon to be acting in such a manner, but I guess they have too many British customers shopping due to good exchange rates!
Hopefully, if they sort of the €10 thing, they can use that instead of take from card

I'm guessing they reduced the price since...but what happens to the remaining balance seen as though I paid the exact right amount with a gift card + 10 eur promo voucher.
Alternatively, if you can see the option to re-apply your gift card balance against the order, that should deal with it straight away.
Thanks guys. Kind of annoying...now I'll have 8 euros sat in my account which I don't plan to use.
Following your email, I'm sorry to hear that you have not yet received your order # 403-8960275-0769115.
I checked your account and I can confirm that your order should have been routed through AMZN_UK_PRIME. However, it seems it was taken over by another carrier.
Given the volume of parcels that we give daily to our carriers, it can happen in rare cases that happen. I am truly sorry.
Indeed, it is likely that you will receive your package shortly. I'll reply personally December 11, 2015 to see if you have received and help if needed.
Be assured that we will take all measures necessary if your package turned out to be lost.
Refund issued.
About time!!
I'd suggest contacting their chat support or sending in an email.
