As a PS4 owner I'd say Gran Turismo is the joke these days. GT6 come out on PS3 a week after the PS4 went on sale and now, two years into PS4 we finally find out that we'll be getting a GT prologue next year. 3 years into a console for a prologue? Meanwhile Turn 10 have released two Forzas on Xbox One. It could be 2018 before we see the full GT7. Shocking that Sony allow this to go on. I'd bloody kill for Forza on PS4. I'd have bought this but I cant justify buying another console and a decent compatible wheel just for Forza. PS4 may be more powerful and run multi-platform games better but the exclusives haven't been up to scratch with the exception of Bloodborne.

Apparently it makes a sound like a car engine when you power it on/off or when you open the DVD tray.
Also, according to the below review, it is a code for the game to download it and not a DVD in a box.

It's amazon so you'll have to deal with their german site if you have any issues with it but....you won't. Xbox One is bullet proof, it's over engineered for cooling and reliability as it's designed to last a long time with it's 'always on' feature, the RROD debacle made them ultra cautious I think. I bought a 'Spanish' machine a long while ago and it's all good.

Really good deal. Look around, for the 1TB model + the game (plus this unique designed one) you won't find a better price currently. That might change on Friday but I'm not taking the chance. Ordered.
For those asking about the differences - all you will need is a uk kettle lead (your standard PC power cable). Can get these for a couple of quid on amazon or somewhere. You'll likely have one lying about the house anyway.
When it's turned on I expect language might be in German by default? Shouldn't be hard to change it though. Just a matter of hitting the settings up. It may even ask for a language when you begin.

This usually happens on Amazon when you send stuff to a different country. Happens to me all the time when having UK Amazon stuff sent to family abroad, but bearable considering the post charges are good.
It can be annoying when specifying PC components for a build and you forget to factor it in.
Also note this deal is obviously due to the GB Pound being fairly strong against the Euro at the moment.
Apple were complete b#####s in they raised the Euro prices (compared by the ratio of other Macs) of their new MacBook to stop us getting it cheaper abroad.

Not a surcharge. Vat in Germany is 19%. In UK 20%. Because they are shipping to the UK, they have to charge the 20% Rate. Hence the 1% difference in price.

I don't recall saying that GT was any better, but Forza is going backwards in features, Microsoft are heavily investing in exclusives at present, and it's to make up for a weaker console, and it's falling behind the PS4, but that investment has to slow down, pouring money into exclusives is a temporary fix

The deciding factor is games an therefore exclusives sell consoles.
Whatever system had the games you want is logically the one you go for.
Youre right that buying a system just for one game is a bit mad (wouldn't stop me though :stuck_out_tongue:) but would you still boycott Tomb Raider if you didn't already have a PS4?
Potential first time current gen customers will be swayed by the exclusive titles if they are their cup of tea.

Mine still says not yet dispatched. Ordered 25th at 00:37am. Good to know they are dispatching however. Mine's due 28-30th. Hopefully I'll get a UK model as well. I also bought with a Master card for extra peace of mind under Section 75 of the consumer credit act - banks take shared responsibility if anything goes wrong.
Once this comes I'll return the Forza Ltd Ed + Rise of the TR all one for £320. This works out cheaper.
