These aren't wireless... It's pointless stating 'wireless to xbox console' as a feature, because no xbox headset even made has been wired to an xbox console. Until a truly wireless set of headphones/headset is made for the xbox one I have to vote cold... These sort of things are just overpriced overhyped headphones.

I can't say I've tried the Microsoft one but I'm still very confident that this one will be better. I've been using Turtle Beach for over 5 years now and I haven't a bad word to say about them.

Depends on what headset he has, but I would say you will need a new one if you'd want him to be able to have the game sound and chat on one headset

The adaptor is the only difference between the Seven and Seven Pro. The Pro comes with the ear force audio controller plus.

This is a fantastic price!! I bought mine 2nd hand for £60 but they were only 2 months old. These type of headphones I've never seen drop by this much. I love mine. Only problem I have is the chat and game volume doesn't seem to change either one, it just changes the overall volume so you have to change the game volume in game so you can hear people.
