18* Likes for that, worth it. Destiny had so much going for it, had good mechanics but the game was atrocious, no matter how much people say it, Grinding = Doing the same thing over and over and over ..... and over again and trying to justify lazy game developing

Costume Quest is a bloody good game! Especially for that price. I had no idea what it was going into it, and ended up pumping so many hours into it.

Here's a quick tip that it never tells you in the game... If you die - you die! Thats it.
Theres no "Go back to last save", that character is dead. So it'll revert to the next toughest person you have in your camp.
Be careful, I got Marcus up to beast mode and through a combination of not paying attention and dropping the pad - I lost him.

I'd say yes, i bought this on wii u for about £5 months ago but because the Wii u is in my kids room i cant get time to play it (plus i hate the wii u) but i bought it again on ps4 and id say for a tenner its a very good game. (so far) lots of melee like in dead island but its more harsher if youre caught by a horde.
Have a read through the first few pages , then go to xbox.com sign into your gamertag go to the bottom change locale to brasil , redeem some codes from off gamers profit!

To be fair - whilst I'm all in on the Destiny bashing (a manipulative Skinner box of a game) and I like Titanfall - Respawn spun similar levels of outlandish (bordering on the deceptive) hype regarding the supposedly groundbreaking nature of Titanfall. Cinematic, cloud power, character driven, blending single and multiplayer, etc.
Bungie can still go to hell though.
SDLiam
27 Oct 15#38
Titanfall as a MP TDM game is just so awesome though. Everyone hypes their games but Bungie sold their soul to Activision and as such become corrupt too.
I agree with you but to compare them is harsh on TF considering how bad Destiny is.
I genuinely believe people are addicted to it as opposed to enjoying it. Did you know they hired a professional behavior psychologist who specialises in addiction so that they could make the game just that?

So, you don't lose the game and have to start from the beginning, you just switch to another survivor, right? That takes the edge off a bit but I'll still be distraught at losing anybody - I was the same with XCom!
US to UK prices for some of those, assuming they're not wrong, upsets me  Not too bad, is a shame Zombi is discounted a little more highly - slightly cheaper with PS+ sales atm from memory (although being an Xbox Gamer that's irrelevant I know)

I lost one of my best guys to the game. Turned it off, went to go get some food, come back a few hours later and the guy I usually play as "got lost" and I found him dead in a house. I was distraught to say the least

^^So much this.
Once ive named my second in command on XCom after my Dad/Brother/Dog/Best Mate and die - its a table flip - followed by a restart.
But correct, you dont lose the game - you just have to choose another survivor. Each one has their strengths, so you do flip around a bit, but for the first portion where you're pretty much Marcus all the way - you do stack him pretty big with EXP and he becomes quite tough (he has some great skills too which not many other characters have).
But once I lost Marcus, if anything even got the slightest bit 'hairy' I would molatov the entire area and bolt!
Added to the atmos, as I was genuinely kecking myself about the possibility of dying!

Super hot but also super f******* annoying.
I've bought games before where they've gone on sale soon after I bought them, but I literally paid £19.99 for State of Decay at 11:30 last night.

27 Oct 15#57
Yep, I read that, and the recent revelations about the scrapped story plans weren't surprising either. It's cobbled together around getting people to return because of compulsion rather than enjoyment. Whatever contract they had with Activision, it had to have major incentives in place for them to release in the half finished state it was in, and choose instead to place grinding barriers in order to elongate the experience.
The sad fact is, I'd still love to play something that was akin to the game they promised though, but I now know even if they did somehow manage to deliver it within the projected ten year plan, they'd charge so much and penalise the player base who didn't get the latest DLC that I couldn't in good conscience buy into it.
Apologies, opened a can of worms there, rant over.

Yes, lots of people play but there are various different game scenarios and the only one which you won't have to wait for other people is Attrition. Attrition is the main team game which is plenty game enough but you may also want to try Capture the flag, Hard point and the others. Pretty much though everyone just blasts each other to smithereens in Attrition.

No need for vpn with Brazil. I used offgamers for credit codes and redeemed them using Microsoft commerce. Created an account using chrome to translate. Added a card but it kept failing although it did create the necessary account within Microsoft commerce. Then redeemed the codes. Then used Xbox.com and found games then change locale to Brazil and purchase. Done.
