Since there is about 1000x questions on returns...
YES Amazon have to LEGALLY pay the return postage for buyers in the EU. I expect it will be a courier collection or a prepaid label. Lenovo do that for their UK returns which go to Germany.

Asda are not participating this year. Probably because they don't want swams of people fighting over their Alba TVs.

Black Friday where each store had maybe 4 or 5 consoles?
I'm glad Asda have given up that farce this year. Hope the other retailers follow them.

black friday meh, major fight for 4 consoles with £20 off. As for this being from Germany there is no issue, im pretty sure amazon would still take it back. I think the only console made in this country is the remake of the zx spectrum. Ive not had one friend with a broken xbox yet and mines been on 24/7 since day one. Trading the games in probably not as they will have foreign barcodes on them, but most people would buy them off ebay or on here as they are new good games.

Could these consoles or games be traded in at somewhere like Game with them being Imported?
Also, what's the craic with returns if faulty?

Wow - you really are going all out to offer the most useless and ill-informed advice on this site aren't you?
On another thread you spouted rubbish about external hard drives and now this nonsense! You really haven't a clue what you're on about.

Oh yeah, you want a nice British made console like the um, you know, that one with the buttons.
Don't want to go messing about with The Continent.

Its a European warranty so it will be the same. I have seen people comment that you can also send it back to Amazon UK.

I got a deal last year from Amazon Germany. The docs are in German but it really is no big deal. Console is simple to set up and use. Just get a UK kettle lead and you're away.

What is that **** exactly ? I'd doubt the 'foreign' hardware was different (correct me if I'm wrong) other than the power supply. Can't see them manufacturing a different console for every country it's sold in ! There are lots of deals on consoles from Europe posted on HDUK, it would be nice go know what comprises may have to be made, if any, for the saving....which is significantly more than a couple of quid !

I've bought a console from Amazon.fr but I'm now reading that the Xbox one is not entirely region free. I can't say I understand it all but it seems that I might have problems with digital content. Can anybody clarify this, let us know of any problems associated with importing a Xbox from the EU ? other than the plug !!

Does anyone know if you can use your Amazon UK gift voucher account to pay for items from Amazon's European sites such as this ?
I was gifted vouchers and have 'topped up' using my own money purely for the purpose of saving for a Xbox One, and this fits the criteria
