Nice 16% saving over purchasing through the Xbox Store.
I appreciate this can be picked up cheaper by adjusting locations, but not everybody is comfortable with that as I am sure you can imagine.
Currently in the vault:
Battlefield 4
Madden NFL 25
FIFA 14
Peggle 2
Need for Speed Rivals
Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare
EA Sports UFC
NBA Live 15
Madden NFL 15
NHL 15
Titanfall
Dragon Age: Inquisition
Battlefield Hardline
Worth it for Plants Vs Zombies alone in my opinion.

I know I'm probably going to get shot down in flames as this site is all about saving money but reading through the comments regarding ID etc is this really worth the risk to save £3? The consensus of opinion appears to be that EA Access is great value for money & personally I'm happy to hand over £19.99 to EA for the benefits of this excellent service. Fingers crossed they don't get greedy & start putting the price up......

Still in stock, now selling at £16.42, I tried the Hungary route but couldn't get it to work, sending this lot photo ID wasn't a problem, I've had more problems with Microsoft holding my credit card details than I'm sure I will sending photo id with everything other than my name blanked out

I ordered this as well today, at 16:08.
I was asked to send my photo ID to verify - I sent my passport with their website in the background, blanking out everything (date of birth, passport number, town of birth etc.) except my photo and names, as per their instructions. I sent this at 16:15. At 16:25, they verified my ID and the card code was available to view.
As others have said, it's not entirely uncommon to be asked for ID for digital purchases, due to all the fraud that's seen.

But is it really that much of a safeguard? A site could ask for bank details and a copy of your photo ID then sell it all on together for pennies as you put it, having a digital file of some ID that matches the paypal/bank details is hardly proof especially as it wouldn't be that hard to knock up convincing fakes when you are talking about an image of an item.
Maybe I am being paranoid, maybe the company that basically says 'if we pass on your info tough is fine' but for a saving of £3 over the year it's not just worth the risk for me personally. I have bought a lot of stuff digitally, live/psn codes from ebay and other sites, games off CD Keys and I have never been asked for it before so when I am asked for something to me that is unusual I automatically get suspicious.

Because items like crash helmets arent easily sold on, not nearly as liquid as reedemable vouchers. You go on any black market website you can buy bank and paypal details for pennys, but you need to buy things with them that you can sell on without getting caught.

People losing it about never requiring photo ID, make more digital purchases and you'll see. Fraud for digital content is huge and the merchants are in good reason to check the order has been legitimately made by the person who's money has been taken. They're actually protecting us and themselves, making sure they can sell at the lowest prices. Why would they sell stuff for 50p margin when one charge back would instantly take £16 off them, 32 sales worth of profit? Cut them some slack.
Why are people so protective of their passport scan anywho? It has your name, age and signature on it. I did it with cdkeys years ago and they haven't asked me since. Same with mmoga.

I cancelled an order with this company when they asked me to send a photocopy of my driving licence. one of the reasons they gave was that my PayPal account was unverified & that they couldn't take payment .
My PayPal account has been verified for years & I'm really not sure how a driving licence can be used to verify a PayPal account. Also I have the PayPal app that shows they where paid instantly.
When i queried this, they cancelled my order & explained that i would have to wait 28 days for a refund. A few emails back & forth & it was only when i asked about getting PayPal involved that they immediately refunded my money after explaining that the codes where now out of stock anyway. They where still showing them as in stock on the site.
If it works for some great but i'd rather not take the risk.

The issue is... you're not buying from a VPN. You're buying from a different marketplace. It's like digital importing. The address bit yes is a bit of a grey area but using VPN's is actually against Microsofts and Sonys Ts&Cs. So is it fraud of some kind? Probably. VPN fraud? Nope.

I have never been asked to provide photo ID when making online purchases, especially when using paypal, it's hardly common practice. I am not about to send a copy of either my driving licence or passport with additional personal info on them as well as passport /driving licence numbers that would be quite handy for identity theft to a company that states what happens to our info after they get it is our responsibility. I bought a £350 crash helmet the other day using paypal and they didn't need ID, why the feck would a £17 item need one?

That's not what he was referring to, I thought that was quite obvious... VPN as a technology isn't illegal (just like Bittorrent isn't illegal). He was referring to the practice of spoofing your location to obtain things cheaper (i.e. avoid paying VAT). This is both fraud (lying about your location which in the case of purchasing online makes up part of a contract - i.e. a purchase) and Tax evasion (obvious reasons).

But why should we send this company photo id and then when you read part of their terms and conditions "; that the communication by the Client of his personal information or general information if considered by him as confidential, shall be made under his own responsibility".

All games in the vault are free forever, EA have also stated that no games will be removed from the vault, so once a game is in there you'll be able to play it for free for as long as you want to.
All new EA titles will have a free trial for 8 hours so you can test a game and decide if you want to buy it or not, if you still want a game at launch you can buy digitally at a discount price or if you're like me and don't really need to rush out and buy games, you can wait 6 months or so for it to hit the vault.
