I'm looking forward to the sale but I'm not too sure what benefit there is to starting the sale to gold members earlier on a digital content sale? Are any silver members going to want gold that much to get the games 4 days earlier?

@benshaw627 I'm not sure how anyone can own an Xbox 360/Xbox One and not have Gold membership. It's fantastic value for money and I got my full 12 months for £20 on here. I can see your point with the digital downloads access being delayed for silver users though.

this will be another example of XBL giving a 'discount' to the value you can buy it in the shop. Far Cry 4 is still £50 on XBL, £25 new in shops. This is the real issue with XBL

I really only posted the info as a heads-up for everyone, I thought maybe people could delay buying a game in case it's discounted, they might want to look around for any discounted credit online (that's what I've done) or perhaps join gold in preparation.

Thanks OP for the heads up, now I know to check for daily deals and make sure I have enough credit to prep myself for the short lived daily deals.

Just so everyone else knows, these Thanksgiving/Black Friday deals are usually heavy discounts on good games, and are often much better prices than you can get for physical copies.

I've bought Forza Horizon 2 (standard edition) and Trials Fusion Max edition (despite owning that on the 360 already). Not too bothered about DLC so thought I'd rather put the extra money towards Trials.

Kicking myself for getting RDR for PS3 the other month now.

Borderlands Handsome Collection about £13 on Colombian marketplace only one I went for.

Does anyone know if the 360 version suffers in anyway from having the full game installed on HDD? It's a double disc game like GTAV and I remember that game performed better when each disc was running from a difference source...

Picked up Mortal Kombat Premium Edition from the Canadian store as it was the cheapest option but a warning to all, Canada store charges a minimum of 5% tax which has not been added to price which is very irritating. I had to buy $60 credit which is roughly £30.50 but the game cost $51.95 leaving me with $8 credit. You need to select the state of Alberta to get the 5% tax rate though.
