Seems quite a narrow beam angle, I'm guessing these would be no good for a small office with 1x50W in each corner?

Cheap for what they are, no use if you want to swap from halogen lamps to LED's if you have dimmer switches. Something to remember ! Dimming LED's need specific dimming switches which aren't cheap.
Just been into homebargins in pontefract and they have them single at £1.99 so around same price but dont have to buy 20 , also said lifespan 30'000 hrs

Ok, I have been testing many GU10 and MR16 replacements over the last 2 years. Out of all the bulbs I have tested these Osram ones are the closest and near perfect match to a 50w halogen:

Most people are looking for same shape and depth as halogen GU10s, to fit recesses and not look pug-ugly. I've found that 4W equivalent to 35w is an ok replacement for 50w if there is a cluster of them - 50W halogens can be too bright on occasions. IKEA used to sell a 5W 50W equivalent, only a few mm deeper than standard GU10, that was truly excellent but it seems to be out of catalogue.

I keep looking at various LED GU10's. Th ones I have now and I'm not sure on the spec (from IKEA) still give that spooky eerie feel. Only have them in Hall, on stairs, Landing and Barhroom so not critical light needed. Thought 350 lumens and 50 watt equivalent would be quite bright as I've seen others with less. Is it the beam angle that is more important to light the room more evenly?
one of the few that come with three year guarantee, warm white, white, cool white with a good spread of light.
I've just bought 90 of them !

Can anyone advise if the beam angle makes a great deal of difference with these? looking to replace a lot all over the house, so price wise, these would be amazing, just worried the light will look too focused...
cheers
