I've used these for years, top notch torches..... My original green which was about £2.50 del back then is used every day, the blue and red I bought about 4 months ago are not of the same £2.50 quality  clickies stopped working after about 1 month, if you get a good one, your on to a winner
Thats only a 350 lumens the post is a 400 one, more brighter
Or get this 600 lumens one for £1.77.

Colour number 4 is £1.31 but adding to basket makes it £2.24 so this post needs expiring.
You got to be kidding me, i just paid £1.28 for the black one with points, this would have cost me 93p  I need to remember that site does multiple colours as i brought a phone here last week forgetting the colour i brought
Nope, £1.31 but still £2.24 upon adding to basket.

These take 14500 or AA batteries
Not the 18650 batteries posted in that Amazon link. They ones are huge and for the bigger flashlights
Are these actually any good quality or just to you get what you pay for?

Although I don't have the exact version as op they all seem to be similar build quality which are pretty decent. Mine isn't even a so called waterproof version but the screw cap had a rubber seal and put black tape over the front part of torch which pulls out for zoom in/out.
Use a 2300mah battery and its incredibly bright which is probably around 200lumens, use as a bike light for day/night and can't fault it. Has taken plenty of bumps being on a bike and dropped it once, 2months on and no issues. Makes a mockery over the expensive bike lights when 2 of these would do a stellar job, 1 AA is a bonus too rather than 3 AAA

I have 5 of these around the house. They are brilliant.
By the way, these "dual-fuel" torches will only achieve maximum lumens if used with 14500 batteries, not AA. Whilst these look outwardly very similar to AA batteries they are a different beast altogether, need special care and a dedicated charger. If you mishandle them they can cause you problems. In extreme circumstances they can quickly overheat, catch fire or even explode.
So do your research carefully if you want to use high power cells. In a nutshell, if that's the way you want to go, don't skimp for the sake of a few pennies or pounds as you may regret it.
If you stick with AA batteries you'll not get as much brightness but AA are universally available and if you use rechargeables (such as the brilliant Eneloop - well worth it) you don't necessarily need an incredible charger to get the best out of them, though a "smart charger" would help you get the best results.

12 Nov 15#64
Well said, even though I use a 2300mah AA, it's still very bright and as the led isn't running at full capacity, it will have a longer lifespan

12 Nov 15#65
So they make a brilliant tiny torch which takes standard AA batteries just that you would need a special 14500 AA battery to get the full performance?
Sounds Chinese

After ordering the 3 flashlights I tried to put through another order for 14500 batteries
It adds on postage costs despite the batteries clearly stating "free delivery"
I also sent a ticket enquiry about it (2 days ago) but I've yet to receive a reply
With all this uncertainty, in future I'll take my business elsewhere
I ordered the 14500 batteries from Deal Extreme and a 14500/18650 charger from Ebay. Both cheaper than at GearBest. Plus free delivery
