So some of you have had the same experience as I did with Vodafone (i'll not go through it again, but suffice to say they eventually cancelled at £99 and tried to make me reorder at £125)
Therefore this is the cheapest non-Vodafone offer there has been I believe (Certainly is according to CamelCamelCamel)
I've been tracking these with Amazon. They generally run out every couple of days then put them back into stock. I'd be surprised if you don't get this dispatched on Monday or Tuesday.
Oh and I received mine today :)

Silver one is still £112. Only black is £119.
Being amazon, I can't link it directly to silver (It's in the title)
Good name by the way

Stuck on 5.0.1 and not even 5.1.1 . I think they have patched that stagefright bug but I doubt this will even get 5.1.1 let alone marshmellow. I got a moto e 1st gen and that just got 5.1 . it's shocking that only nexus devices get constant updates along with HTC, some lg. I think consumers are unware of android shortcomings on cheaper devices.

£119.99 at Argos with a £10 gift voucher, perfect for buying a micro SD card to boost the storage (thats how I did it earlier in the week, but appreciate the headline price is more expensive and that there are cheaper sources for memory cards): http://www.argos.co.uk/m/static/Product/partNumber/4449131.htm (use Fast Track to dodge the £10 topup)
Edit: Sorry, should have said, heat added as this is a great price if you don't want/need anything else from Argos to use the voucher!

is it locked to Vodafone?
lukenuckley

Yep, but only a couple of quid to unlock via eBay so no great shakes given the amount of phone for the money and Vodafone branding is mercifully minimal too.

Great phone for the money.... Something to consider is that you can't run Sky Go on this device...

The biggest problem I've found on my partner's phone relates to the spell check. Words are underlined in red, and tapping on the word just brings up the menu to replace it for a split second, before it disappears again. Confirmed as happening on another SU6 in one of the previous threads.
Few anecdotal posts across the Vodafone Ireland forum about an update, but to echo one of the above posts, the camera is mediocre in anything other than perfect lighting. It's a lovely big screen for consuming media, but it's not without its drawbacks.

No he's right they're not clever at all. Good for the price but I'd want better for treasured memories etc!

What recommendation for a good camera on a budget phone? Not averse to a Chinese phone.

The Moto G is the only one I know of. It's gone up in price and the specs don't look as good as something like the SU6, but you get OS updates and a decent camera

I'd advise anyone purchasing this phone to get a tempered glass screen protector as the screen cracks fairly easily and Vodafone charge £130 (more than the cost of the phone) to fix it. There are few third party vendors that offer screen repairs for this phone.

i had the same issue with mine as well as random swiping in menus. I think her touch screen is faulty. I got mine exchanged and my new ones fine

Interesting. I'm fairly sure it's software as everything else works fine (haven't seen any other touch based problems). So if you tap on a red underlined word, you actually get the menu to choose from rather than this:
Ah it would appear I also have that problem....I think this phone is going back to be honest. This isn't much of a problem really but the poor WiFi connection is.

Sorry, re-read my post and it genuinely wasn't meant to be a 'gotcha', was just hoping to see that it was an isolated problem. I think it's more to do with the early build of Android 5.0.

well I had the issue in the video occasionally but the main issue was the ghost swiping. so far so good with replacement.
