Cheers OP. Didn't really need it....but it's a bargain so I bought it! Isn't that what this site is all about? Saving money on the things you need and spending the savings on things you don't!

I suspect it will go towards more stuff I don't really need! (I already have Logitech Harmony remotes and wireless keyboards for both my HTPCs)

I got an extra 8p off for being a Play music subscriber and paid with the pennies earned from Google Opinion Rewards - Thanks OP.

It's worth pointing out that the Amazon version does include quite a long list of remotes - including Kodi, Chrome, Netflix, and alot of other stuff that I'd never heard of. It may be perfect for alot of people (and certainly was for me)

I have Kodi installed on the laptop, and wired into TV. Would this work as a remote for Kodi? It's a pain having to walk over to the laptop to change channel.

Just checked for you and it works perfectly  Simply add the kodi remote in the app settings in the same way as you add any other.
Thanks OP ... didn't know I needed till I saw the post.

This is a great app, I've also been using it since it launched. And it's more like a remote touchpad/keyboard and remote control, TeamViewer is more of a VNC screen replication option. Perfect for Plex/Kodi and when you can't be arsed to reach for the wireless keyboard and mouse...

Are there any other android remotes that can control the fire stick apart from the main amazon android fire remote app?
Could do with something with more features like numbers on main screen, for example. Macros would be handy too but not essential.

This is a really good app, I've used it nearly from launch and it's made a lot of improvements on what was already a solid app. Very handy and easier for at home use over something like teamviewer, and it's actually pretty handy for work, I've used it during presentations and meetings before so I can be on my tablet and move around while my laptop is hooked up to the projector.
