Only way I can see anyone getting this is collecting quickly. Unfortunately my nearest store on that list is 10 miles away (despite there being one extra store 2 mins walk away from my house!) & the collection slots are all late this evening by which point I imagine the price will have been corrected.

For those who have ordered for delivery tomorrow please note it says on the email:

1. The guide price is based on today's prices instore. However as we shop for your order on the day you want it delivered, some of the prices may have changed.

So if its more expensive tomorrow they will charge you more.

Its £44 in store for those that are interested. I just popped in to my local to have a look on the off chance and scanned it at a barcode price check point. Halo 5 was also full price. Be good of they do honour the grocery order but I can see it as they charge the price the item sells for in store usually.

I wouldnt bother with this as I work for tesco and these *glitches* will not be honored in store as they ring the stuff through the till before sending it out for delivery so you will be charged instore price. That's why it says Guide Price

Where does it say about 'Guide Price' on the product. I too ordered it as part of a online shop I was doing and it's all gone through so far. If they scan it at store price and charge you by the time it comes they're going to have a lot of pi55ed off customers imagine you didn't have that amount of money in your account? Had a telephone cancellation. Said head office got informed of a glitch in the system by customers ordering 10-15 copies so they are cancelling all orders

Absolute joke! No phone call, no email. Got to collect... They have charged me full price & won't give me the game! Refunds will be given apparently! Glad I only ordered the one! Wonder why some slipped through the net?

When I went to collect it the guy in the shack gave me a receipt for £48 (£44 plus it had weirdly kept the £4 collection fee even though the price correction had bumped the order over £40).

I queried it and said that I had ordered it at £18 (£14+£4), so he called his manager. He said it was 'a problem with the system' and confirmed that if I was billed at £48 I should just call them and they would refund me the £30 (and he encouraged me to write this down where I signed for the collection so there would be a record of it).

So even if it does go through at £48, they've agreed to correct it to £18.

Thank you, OP. I ordered mine around half ten and collected it about half an hour ago. The guy in the collection van dubbed me as one of the 'lucky ones' as there were individuals in the afternoon ordering a stupid amount ie: ten or more which gave the game away to the pickers as they were curious as to why these people were ordering said amount of the same game. They obviously looked in to it and realised it was a glitch and those people didn't get their orders honored. So because they were greedy they ended up with nothing. I only ordered one so I'm happy :smile:

Went to pick it up tonight and had been charged £44 girl had an email advising to honour one game "such as call of duty black ops III for £9" and I tried to explain that uncharted was £14 but she would only charge me £9... This did however add on the £4 charge for being under £40, so got it for £13, with the £31 to be refunded.. Also said on the email "for colleagues safety" and apparently people who had ordered 10 of black ops and been charged over £400 had been kicking off massively! Serves them right!

Yes, you now have to claim the £30 refund. I had mine processed on Friday and it went through fine.

I should have updated, I went in on Saturday and spoke to a lovely lass at the CS, I was issued £30 cash refund there and then :smiley:
