Bought two pairs with this offer and just had a fields test at the hospital and they measured my glasses and the axis measurements for the glasses were well off what I ordered!

DaDip to Kezzano111

Yes, a few times actually. Well worth doing to help pick your frames. You can pick up to four frames at any one time for a 7 day trial. They email you once they're ready to send them, which is usually within 24 hours. As long as you send the frames back within 7 days, you don't get charged and if you're still not sure and want to try more frames, you can do another 7 day trial. They'll email you once they've received the frames back too.
For the curious, you will need to give them your payment details as they won't send the frames otherwise. You won't get charged unless you decide to keep the frames over 7 days.
I tried using their Ditto virtual try on service. Good idea and fairly well executed but I find there's no substitute for trying the frames on for real.
Hope this helps.

Thanks op, just ordered a couple of frames! great discount! I went for scratch resistant and went for tints on the extra pair for use in the sun. I had a couple of codes, but you can use only one code at a time, the one by the OP is the best discount you can get I thought.

Not sure I follow. Do you mean you already have a £30 code, or do you mean you are trying to use the MSE code as well (if so, that won't work)?
Can anyone confirm this is still active? I cant get it to work! I can put the code in but it wont discount the total.

The code wouldn't work for me the first few times late last night, i deleted the code that id copied and started again typed the code in manually and finally got my 2 pairs for £19. Glad i persevered as i was about to give up. Hope it works for you.

I've placed an order and they have now sent me an email asking for photo ID and a bill with my address on??
I have asked why they require this and apart from a vague answer about 'security of their customers' they're telling me nothing.
Anyone else had this???

You don't need to use the code you get through the referral to buy the glasses if you have a better voucher code (like the OP).
Got a family member to refer me, registered and bought my glasses with the MSE code (came to £19) and my family member got the £15 Amazon voucher within about 15 minutes of placing the order.
princeprecious
5 Nov 15#47
go to there website and click the link REFER AND SHARE £45
your spouse or any family member can refer you as well if needed.
then your total order value of 2 pairs for £55 will come down to £25 and then your referral person will get £15 back as Amazon voucher.
I hope this helps.
This is always available and MSE deal was never really good as they always portray that they have blagged it for us, rather they blagging us and making big commission on sales.

Heated. I think this is a good offer as the glasses appear to be made in the UK, can anyone confirm please?
I was disappointed by the goggles4U offer recently, ordered two pairs and while one pair was ok, the other gave a distinctly blurred picture. Complained online via their chat service and I must say they were very efficient, offered me another pair free of charge from the same range. Received that one yesterday and again it was blurred.
Going on TrustPilot, they have very good reviews but in the negative ones, a recurring theme appears to be the lens not being aligned with the centres of your pupils resulting in blurred vision. Goggles4U orders are fulfilled from Pakistan, there appear to be many happy customers but there is the odd one like myself where there is definitely something wrong with the prescription. I've now given up on them and will buy elsewhere.

My single vision glasses with high index lenses from goggles4you cost £51 delivered I was quoted £220+ (with discount!) for a similar pair in Vision Express.
The goggles4you glasses are the best vision from glasses that I've had in years.

I've ordered from these before, they are worth the money and the company seem to have decent support staff. A little tip if you order any extras like trans, make your free pair the same model without any extras, that way if you manage to damage the frame on you main pair you can swap them out. This saves buying two pair with special lens attention.

4 Nov 15#16
unfortunately the offer doesn't include very high prescriptions over +/- 8.0, you could just try entering it on the site and see what prices they give. You should still get the 2for1 offer, but not the extra discount. Also they'll probably contact (email or phone) you in person if you place an order with a high prescription to make sure its correct first.
hcc27, As far i understood the company is based in Swindon and glasses are made here too...
