I don't buy them any more. I measured the last AAA I bought from Lidl and they only held ~600mAh instead of the stated 950. I spent a few pence more on 1100mAh from 7dayshop, which held ~1060mAh. Voted cold.

Been using the pound land ones for years and never had a problem with them

Bought two packs of AAs and whilst tight fits in some items none refused to fit. Decided to charge them on my charger that does each battery indivudually and stops charging when the battery is fully charged. Of the first 4 two were quickly full while the fourth took ages.

I believe someone mentioned elsewhere but just a word of warning regards sizing of the Tronic AA 2300s. Having purchased some today and checked them in various devices I found them to be snug or not fitting at all when the device has a cylindrical slot for the battery.
I therefore measured them along with other AA rechargeables I have Including 7 Day Shop and Everlast Hybrio batteries.
Whilst the OD of all other AA rechargeable batteries were circa 14.0mm to 14.2mm, the Tronic batteries were up to 14.5mm in diameter, which explains the problem.

These are good, I have loads of them around the household items. I have had them for 2 years now and they are still holding charge. I also have the Tronic charger from Lidl which charges 6 AA and 2 9v blocks.

are these good ones? must be better than poundland ones...but not as good as Duracell/Energizer/Panasonic

Well as Duracell and Energizer are 3 times the price. It's worth giving them a try. Even if they lasted half as long you'd be quids in.

At this price it's almost worth buying 50 or so and doing away with disposables completely for all the kid's toys.
they are selling the charger to go with them for just £12.99, think it's in an earlier post

Went for a drill got these instead, @ 1000mah should be good/versatile. As far as quality time will show.. The 9v ones seemed useful but no need for them atm.

Full of the cold and didn't check oops. But anyway, went down to Lidl's and picked up some of these batteries today. I also noticed they work in fast chargers.
