Surely you're confusing this with another drive? Even by USB2.0 spec this device is a tortoise, with broken legs. Bought two. Best they could acieve in continuous write was 5MB/s as per spec. Somewhere around 15mins to shift about 5GB. I only have one slower device, and I only tolerate that because it is near indestructable. Great price, but once bought, this Tosh is tosh and has zero redeeming features. My time is more valuable. Doubt I will ever use them again.

Can only go by exactly the same Toshiba I have, a 32gb. It's VERY slow. Yes, there are even slower thats true. Its hardly a badge of honour though. Still, how can you complain at £2 ?

Ordered a couple to keep System Recovery Image disks stored away. Useful if I feel like trashing the system and starting with a clean slate. :smile:
