Using one of these at the moment. brilliant piece of kit - they sound expensive but really do shed a lot of time off prepping bottles so in my opinion worth the money. Perfect for the night feeds....
All I would say is read instructions properly one first setup as initial cleaning etc is a bit fiddly as it contains a water filter. But once this is out of the way enjoy making bottles ready to feed in about 60 seconds.

How about a £6 filter jug and a £15 kettle? Likely already have a kettle at home anyway. Just use a thermometer to check the temp is back down to room temp. Am I missing something? Genuinely interested.

it adds filtered cool water to get the bottle to room temp. I.e. you don't have to stand there with a thermometer for half an hour while your baby is screaming. there is lots of information on the internet that will tell you how it works.

These are just brilliant! We made bottles with boiling water and formula for our son when he was a baby but with our 2nd baby we had one of these. I'd never go back to boiling the kettle after using this. When your baby is screaming to be fed you'll realise why this is a life saver. My only suggestions is to keep changing the water in the tank especially when only dispensing smaller amounts of water for smaller feeds.

we boil before bed and store in a Tommee tippee thermos, the thermos cover we fill with icy water and take to bed, bottles are made and temperature ready in around 2-3 minutes. no more waiting by the kettle at 3am

I agree. Essential kit nowadays! (Now you can't premake bottles)
2nd child is 6mths old now, after 1st you realise what's worth buying and what's not. This is my #1 bit of kit that I recommend to EVERYONE!
And to the person above who asked "what's wrong with kettle and thermometer?", it will take approx 20mins to boil fresh water and chill back to room temp. 20mins your baby wont want to wait. This adds a shot of boiling water to the bottle for a sterile blast, then makes up to drinking temp. 60secobds and you're done.

The starter kit is a steriliser, bottle warmer, bunch of bottles, teats and carriers. The perfect prep machine prepares formula milk. They're two completely different things, read the descriptions for more details...
