Think you can design and build the greatest amusement park in the world? You select the site, you layout the rides. In fact, you control every aspect of running a profitable amusement park; from hiring employees, to developing new rides, to maintaining an adequate supply of soft drinks. Any mistakes, and the bustling hordes of fun-seekers will let you know. Oh, and that Merry-Go-Round in flames is a clue too.
Select from dozens of rides and attractions.
Experience fireworks, weather effects, and more!
Keep your employees happy, or be forced into some real-time deal making.
Visit the Bank Manager to keep an eye on your cash flow.
Check the park status screen to see what your visitors are thinking. You'd better build a burger stand, the little peeps are getting hungry!

Increase the salt in fries so they would buy more drinks =)

The good old days. Playing this on the megadrive as a 13 year old, without a worry in the world...

I bought this last time it was on offer but I couldn't get it to work properly on my laptop - it loaded OK but the navigation around the park was so jerky and fast I couldn't place anything properly.
It was a shame as I have fond memories of this game too!

Theme Park world worked well on PS1/PS2 so there's some hope.
Salt up the fries, more drinks sold, more sick to clean up.... Played over 2 decades ago I'm sure on PC 486DX2, is that timing right? Dunno why that popped into my head... Damn I'm old.

Yes! I had the the 486 dx2 66... Then some fake Pentium upgrade (overdrive I think).
Anyway, no matter how many engineers I put in to my parks some kids always died on the bouncy castle. It didn't seem to bother passers by though!

Ahhh, the memories. It may actually be worth this for the nostalgia. With RCT World looking pretty sucky unfortunately, looking back may be a viable alternative. Although RCT3 is still the go to theme park sim for me.

Wasted a whole holiday in Spain playing this on the DS a few years ago. Still a great game.
