Wonderful price. I don't regret getting it at launch for £32 because I loved the experience, just awesome.
Shame it sold so badly. :disappointed:

No, they don't hold their value. Nintendo price-fix, there is no other reason for them to sell so high. Look at Zombi U - it was an exclusive for a few years but sold poorly like a lot of Wii U software. But it wasn't published by Nintendo so Ubisoft dropped the price real fast. All Nintendo published games - both good and bad, high or low selling retain a high price because Nintendo refuse to make a loss on their games.

Games are games. They're bound to drop their price, some take weeks, months or even years.
Obviously games in demand with low prints will hardly have its price reduced because they're only available in the used market.

Retailers set prices not publishers. Nintendo don't pressure retailers into taking minimum ship orders for games like Ubi, EA etc do. Zombiu dropped because Ubi flooded shelves with it. They wanted front of store and shelf end displays for the game. When it didn't sell retailers had a load of stock on credit from Ubisoft they needed to shift. Price plummets.
