Child: You got me the Snowman dvd, it's on TV later.
Mum: But you can watch it now instead!
Child: I'd rather have had the cash, but thanks for the thought

He was a kid who became famous for singing the song to the film, although as above it seems he didn't actually sing it in the film (I don't know what's real anymore....)
Not sure about a stocking filler, I always think this needs to be watched Christmas eve.
And as for the 'snowman and the snowdog', its basically the same film, how did they get away with that...

I have no idea who Aled Jones is tho.
Also Nightmare Before Christmas works as a Christmas and a Halloween film! Great for kids (:

Nice film and sequel, but it's a seasonal one that comes on TV every year (several times even). Rather than buying it and watching it around Xmas time, you might as well have something to look forward to on TV (which is always repeat city around Xmas). Voted hot for a good deal tho...

Totally agree! Its part of the fun watching it on TV knowing loads of people around the country might be watching at the same time. Somehow it just wouldn't seem the same going through a DVD menu screen!

Great TV to get the kids in the mood for Christmas is The Night Before Christmas. A Tom & Jerry short to be found in this collection.

Factoid of the day: In the film, the song Walking in the Air, was not sung by Aled Jones.

Id say bad stocking filler as its on tele every year! The kids hate this thing now and they only see it once a year lol.
