I've ordered Xenoverse a few days ago and got a display copy. Pretty sure half their recent deals are them getting rid of their displays before Christmas season kicks in.
It's frustrating that every time this happens, everyone kicks up a fuss and surely enough two months later, they're at it again.

why pay hundred's of pounds on a PS4 to play a game that only looks a bit better? The difference isn't night and day.
mine has been shipped, if it is not new and sealed then I can start a PP dispute or contact their customer services. I read that the GOTY content comes as a PSN code which needs to be redeemed and downloaded. As for whoever said get a PS4 to play the remastered edition, why should I? This is about gameplay and a good storyline, for visuals I will stick to my PC.

On PS4 it still has a good storyline and gameplay... just looks better. Last Of Us isnt on PC so for visuals you'll have to get the PS4 version.

Is the story any different on PS4? Naughty Dog will never make a PC game, I know that. I don't see why I should spend hundreds on a brand new console and then buy PSN just to get better visuals for one game and play online. If the PS4 drops to £100 then I probably would. I'm not interested in any other "exclusives"

I think you missed the whimsical point of the person who posted about the PS4 version. Nobody is forcing you to buy a PS4, just as nobody is forcing me to buy a high end PC... so that point is moot.

The DLC content on the GOTY edition is a download code not on-disc.

Last few times it happened to me, I went on the chat and they didn't even pretend it was a mistake. They just insisted that it was an ex display copy and it was just the same as a brand new one (which is by definition not the same at all). I raised a claim with paypal another time, too and Paypal just had me send the game back.
It's not like they don't have pre-owned section to sell their **** ex displays, just no excuse for their shady business practice.

Same here, received mine (TLOU & Wolfenstein) yesterday & the discs aren't even secure inside the cases. They're shaking about inside probably getting even more tatty. They're definitely going back! Bloody new my ass.
