it's similar to PGA tour but without all the levelling up and insane amounts of spin on the ball. a more natural game which just needs more support. it has a course maker and you can find some very authentic real life courses.
I definately recommend it

yes it is. you can play the game as and when you like as it auto saves as you play. it also sets a handycap so if you are crap it makes it fair.
this game is by far the most realistic, but it is without the roses what tiger or rory offers. if you want unrealistic then go rory but if you want a good all round golf sim this is the one. just be warned it does have some pop up and the commentry is dire but past that it is a great golf game at a bargain price

£24.99 online, altho the old price that's crossed out is also £24.99, so maybe they've yet to change the online price to the current instore price.
Would rather get a sealed copy than a manky open copy instore which looks pre-owned (altho you could still get a crappy version, even online)

This game is awesome. It was made by some designers who were working on tiger 15 before it got cancelled.
At the easiest level its tour pro on tiger woods golf.
It drives me bonkers with frustration but I love it!!

Anyone played this & Links 2004? Wouldn't mend hearing a comparison. For me, links was the best console golf game. Didn't look pretty, but played very well. Online games, everyone at level 7, good old days

I bought this when it was first discounted on PSN, I also bought the DLC, this price is a bargain and the game is just awesome. The online community via tgctours.com gives the game the best continued support possible and allows you to compete multi platform.

Good Price. Paid £35 for this and it is a really good golf game! All user content (courses) so endless play. Much better than RM Golf. Heat.

As much as people give RM PGA Tour stick, I'm rather enjoying it. Admittedly I'm not a die hard golf game fan, but it's a game that I can pick up and play and generally really enjoy my time playing it - Even though my shots frustrate me at times.
Is this really worth a purchase for those of us who already own and enjoy playing RM PGA Tour?

I'm a casual golf player in real life, so I appreciate how unrealistic Rory is in terms of adding spin mid-air, for example.

Was still showing full price today in my local Game. They pretty much refused to price check stating "Its probably on-line only and we have a store which has higher overheads .....yada yada yada".
The only reason I would buy anything from Game would be for these types of deals. Hot if you can get it but I'd vote cold for Game themselves if I could.

It's poor that Game's management network is obviously so shambolic that not all of it's branches correctly price it's promotions at the same time in unity across the country. I picked mine up for £14.99 from Lakeside today no problem. Heat added. :smiley:

Picked this up for £14.99 from my local store yesterday and I am really enjoying the game. Stil getting used to the analogue stick swing but I think with enough practice it should get easier.
