Thought this was a bargain. Not sure if its the permanent price but works about 50p an episode.
Hilarious, one of Coogans more underrated characters.

Its more the fact I'm not a film person really. I tend to watch stuff and move on so a lot of what I buy will be entire series of stuff that maybe I've never watched all the way, music I'm more into collecting and vinyl is the ultimate collectable item imo. Ive got a prehistoric apple tv box that works fine so just stream stuff on that, never bother with downloading.
If iTunes went down tomorrow I wouldn't regret what i'd bought really and lost as I've watched them all.
Anyway there is the space issue, I've just moved onto my third ikea rack full of vinyl and must be 20 boxes in a container I rent also so the idea of having dvd and discs knocking about wouldn't go down well at home.

It may well do, but if the op doesn't have those options then his comment is valid, no?

Ah on a PC... Not forgetting of course that it runs perfectly fine on a Mac, iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch or Apple TV - so plenty of options available to watch it on.

Ironically, I DO buy MP3's, as they are not protected (anymore...) so WILL last for life.
And I know what you mean about Apple, but it wasn't so long ago that they were literally rescued by MS, and look at Nokia, so never say never.
My point is, it's a rental, not a purchase, unless it is completely free of DRM.

Cant see Apple going out of business any time soon. I generally agree though and don't own an mp3, vinyl for life but tv and films etc I'm really not fussed.

Not really, iTunes is a bit of a resource hog on PCs.

It's about the same price used from Zoverstock through Amazon on DVD.
Still prefer hard copies myself, and yes, good series.

Not just about a 'hard copy', what happens when the supplier eventually goes out of business or just plain bored, and things move on, and the license server is turned off?
You never BUY these things, you only buy a license to use them as long as they allow it...
I do buy digital (mainly games) but only for things I'm willing to treat as 'disposable'... Don't ever think you are buying permanent access...
But back OT, great series, but I got to vote cold, this is essentially a rental, albeit a long term one.

Wish I was willing to put bloatware on my system. Would have been great to get this if I was.

What a strange comment.

I remember when it was first broadcast, I thought it was pretty meh, but I recently re-watched it and I realised that it was actually an underrated classic, which showed that Coogan isn't just a one trick pony.

Oh poop. No subtitles.
I love Steve Coogan, but I often have a hard time hearing what he says, unfortunately.
Heat added for the decent price though!
