HOT! All this for just £1.65 is a bargain. I've read they even manage to ship the chicken over from Thailand!

Got these for work...when all you have is a spoon it's a challenge trying to open the film lid! Top tip! If you plan on taking these to work make sure you have a knife!

Good value but as said before, absolute nightmare to get into. Obviously the quality control and taste testers must take them off the production line before the high security plastic film goes on.

these are excellent for that money.
I'm amazed that adults struggle to decant these easily and safely, how do you guys go on with actual cooking?

These & the mash are ridiculously difficult to get into,I had one of their other curry ready meals recently the one without the Bombay potato in it & that wasn't difficult to get into like these are,I wonder why that is.

Not enough rice in the pilau rice to Bombay potato and tandoori chicken ratio. Plus product induces ring sting. Tastes great though.

It's the Bombay Potato bit in the middle that makes it awkward to open ..... Curry and rice combos are fine!
I'm sure there is a great technique like leaving the Potatoes til the end!!!

Tesco are not bad, good bit of sauce with them if dipping your naan bread is your thing. Sainsburys are in a different league as far as taste goes though not as much sauce. Asda used to be my fave but cannot compete with either now.

Weird how this keeps popping up as a hot deal.
These are the "Cathedral City" of curries, ie always half price every other week.
I wonder if anyone ever has bought one of these at full price? I guess so...
They're nice though, much better since they added the bombay potatoes.

I wonder if the Bombay potatoes are a cost saving measure? Personally I always preferred the meal without (more curry!), but that one never seems to be on offer anymore...

Bought these a few times, usually chuck away the bombay potatoes, they're only there to make the packet look bigger.

I have finally found a stupidly easy way of serving, I just split the servings with a pair of scissors before I pick them up to serve, no floppy messy packets or burned fingers.

This comes back and other don't for a reason. My comment from a previous thread:
3.30 for this would be ludicrous, like most Tesco Indian ready meals on 'normal' price- at my Super store they only ever get to sell once they go to clearance.
Rice AND potato makes this a bad deal. The curry ends where the paper packaging starts, it is deceiving marketing.
Buying 1 is OK, for larger much better to get the Finest or Every day deals, this middle range is too expensive for what it is. Once you go beyond buying 1, cheaper and better tasting to just make your ready meal with a jar of sauce (even branded like Sharwood are a quid), basmati rice will be about 50p for the quantity, chuck in chicken (even the everyday sandwich chicken will do against this) and you'll be up.
I bought 1 to try, potatoes are good, rice and sauce OK, 4 pieces of rubbery chicken not great.

Try peeling the cellophane off as you ought to,it's a nightmare,if you use scissors that's cheating
