Do you think It was a genuine mistake? Fair enough to point out the Error, but to then vote the op cold, when he/she is trying to do us all a favour is pathetic.
Happy Christmas. Fingers crossed its not to cold. X

I'm guessing it's £5 per kilo? So title is misleading as the joint isn't actually £5.

Sorry cold for misleading title,
Price is £5 per kg , smallest joint online is £8.50 1.7kg
But another misleading Tesco half-price offer I'm afraid. Morrisons Signature Wiltshire hams are only £5 a kilo - normal price!

I agree with the previous comments. You cannot judge value with just the price but no weight given. Cold.

It's not misleading, it's half price for Tesco, nevermind what it is at Morrisons. Different ham, different supplier.

This is great ham, I always get it when it's on offer. I cut the end of it into chunks for a casserole, cut a few gammon steaks off it and boil or roast the rest and have it sliced for butties or with chips. It is half Tesco normal price, I've seen it in there recently at £10 per kilo but I wouldn't buy it at that price.

Why do the processors of these products assume we want 'added water'? What's wrong with supplying us with good unadulterated food and charging a little more for it? This is supposedly Tesco's top of the range 'best' product they can offer, yet aside from the gammon itself the highest other added ingredient is water !

Last time I bought this it had no added water, be interesting to see if they've changed that

Yes because the comment was made before the post was amended and OP had just put £5.00( original heading read - Tesco Finest Smoked Wiltshire Gammon Joint half price £5.00 from Tomorrow) making it look like the joints were £5 each which they were not. Post has now since been amended to show £5.00 kg.

Just like you I have the right to vote Hot or Cold on any deal, If the title is inaccurate or misleading I vote cold simple as that, many people have done similar to me over the past year.

I bought a 5kg boneless gammon joint in asda yesterday for less than £15 can't wait to boil it, slice the skin off, score the fat, drizzle honey over it and roast it for Xmas  mmmm yum!

I find ham very salty. Pork is better as it is fresh and preservative and salt free!

Tesco finest bakery bread is brought in frozen and baked in the ovens so they don't really bake it in the sense that it is made from scratch. Only Morrisons bake some breads from scratch. So Tesco finest isn't that fine really !
