Many people have been duped into buying the newer product based on historic reputation of a superior product. Its not the same product as it used to be, so therefore it is unknown if this is the best deal. The chances are the price will drop further based on the changes made by Tassimo. I think the current costco price is just the "new" price.

If you want more details on the uproar caused by the Tassimo changes go to their facebook page. They've got a full on middle class rebellion on their hands. It makes quite funny reading. There is a massive difference between new and old, mainly due to changed made within the milk/cream etc. To be fair to Tassimo they have reduced the price for the new inferior product, but I doubt it will satisfy the masses who are complaining. I guess you get what you pay for.

Yeah they barely taste any different IMO. The milk is definitely more foamy - like bath foam - so different consistency. Flavour about the same so they've just extracted more water I guess.

I agree! The "improved" latte is far inferior and I have not seen a good word written about the latest range.

Agree with others who have posted on here regarding the change of ingredients.
Tassimo isn't a patch on what it used to taste like.
The Costa Lattes used to taste like a Costa Latte, now taste nothing like it! Even the more expensive whole bean instants taste better!!
I won't be buying anymore once I've finished my current batch, time to move on to another brand me thinks....

girlfriend and i got these on the weekend and wondered how the boxs were so small compared to before but its because the milks become tiny, dosent give much milk at all (dont know how its still an xl size glass unless their normal size glass is a thimble) not sure on taste though..... hot chocolate, well the galaxy instant or the norm cadbury with add milk is far nicer and easier. i got a make shift water disk for mine so it makes perfect mug size tea an hot drinks. give hot because of price but you can tell why the price is reduced

Tassimo are being slated by a lot of their historic customer base since they changed the ingredients across the range. Many people boycotting them because of the changes. I voted cold for this because the product is now far inferior to what it used to be, regardless of price. Apologies OP. Thanks for posting. BTW: I got caught out recently when I restocked with this exact deal from Costco. Felt ripped off.

This os a great price if you live near a Costco. I grabbed the Amazon deal back in Jan for £15. Hoping it'll be back again soon.
