£5.84 a month if TCB pays. Not for everyone as only 3G support, but good priced after cashback - currently £49.87 Topcashback and £45.00 Quidco. Vodaphone network.

I was a talkmobile customer a year ago and you need to remember If you are thinking of transferring your number you need to have PAC at time of ordering as you cannot transfer number once you have taken the contract out.
Not sure if they have changed this recently though.

I actually couldn't use my PAC when I ordered one last week (although didn't get the special offer) I had to ring up after it arrived to get my number transferred across

I bought plan last year as was told that if the read the small print talkmobile do not do cashback. That was also advertised with cash back. This was a plan with a phone which also was suppose to have cashback.

not true, got my cashback from them last time via tcb
Old Gold to rockpot
24 Nov 15#36
No they probably dont directly. The cashback comes either from a referral company such as quidco or the retailer such as e2save.
This is why when phones4u went bust we were still tied into the contract with the network but lost our cashback deal.

Shows £47.97 cash back at TCB for me. Even at £10 a month still not bad, although Vodafone 3G not the best..

With talk mobile for 3 years, customer service great, uk call center, but cancellation department imposibble to get. Coverage is on a par with the rest of the providers but no 4g. Was waiting for new phone deal but might take this.

Talk mobile sell your number to PPI companies and the like. I moved my wife's number over to them and she suddenly started getting regular calls from all sorts of random companies. No coincidence I don't think. Be warned of this aspect. Had a 30 day rolling contract and it was easy to cancel.

I ordered last year lumia £0 after cashback.. due to some issues with them , mobiles co uk offered me full £180 cheque within 3 nonths.. Plus quidco cashback i got £30 , and yes you can give them pac code anytime without any issue. Theallowance updates can take upto 48 hours. Capping system is not that good..

My advice is to run a mile from talkmobile. I just got a deal (iphone 6S, on HUKD) but when porting my number over, there was an 'error' and I have been without service for two weeks. The worst customer service I have ever encountered...AVOID

its CPW so what you expect than worst anyway.
If you bought this just pray now that you don't get any issues for next 12 months so you don't have to deal with them.

24 Nov 15#40
Not sure they're part of CPW anymore - ID Mobile is now the CPW brand and Talkmobile is being run independently. RE: details being sold to PPI companies etc, I'd be surprised if this actually happened and if it did you guys would have a claim against CPW for the misselling of your data. My insurance company did this to me (apparently accidentally!) and had a free year of car insurance by threatening that I'd go to the information commissioner/.

I have been with Talkmobile for over 3 years, coverage has been good(Northern Ireland) and even when in Spain in July it was cheap enough to txt home and download a couple of games on android for my 7 yearold, if you do decide to go with them dont forget to cap your data usage as we got a bill for £108 the first month we renewed our 24 month contract as my son went over the 500mb limit on the phone and talkmobile and although my fault for leaving the data on , talkmobile would not even knock a penny off , so again , not a very empathic company

The problem is how to tell which company has sold your data. You leave one mobile provider for another and start getting them it could be your new provider selling details as they now have them, your old one as a form of payback for leaving them, any other company that has those details in their normal rotation of selling gathered information. The details may have been sold months ago but not used immediately. If you ask where they got your details from they may lie. How exactly do you track it back to one company?

Hi just received my sim today, called up c,s had a chat with a nice guy and he confirmed that the data you get with this deal can be used as a portable hotspot (tethering). yes its only 4gb but its nice to know that your not gonna be hit by any other charges. thanks for posting this deal.

If you try to put in a TopCashBack support ticket it does mention that sometimes this retailer tracks higher later on, however, I'll cancel if TopCashBack can't confirm the £49.87. So far TCB support have suggested I lodge a "Missing Cashback" claim but that is obviously no good since it takes 2-4 months to process - I need an answer in days - so have pointed out the issue and am waiting for them to reply.
The cashback order ID correctly matches the actual order number, so it looks like it tracked properly, however £1.05 is a fair bit different to £50.

this is pretty standard I'm topcashback where initially tracks at a lower rate then is updated later. Nothing to worry about as happens many times.

My order never passed through their system even though I got a order confirmation and direct debit guarantee.
I had to place a new order on the phone and I found that talkmobile only offered 2GB data.. The guy on the phone said I have been allocated the 4GB data but it did not show in the confirmation email.
I would suggest anybody who ordered the sim to get it confirmed.
