In that case, then I'm struggling to see what your original post was actually doing except for stating the utterly obvious, which amounted to nothing more than "there was going to be a terrorist attack at some point in the future" which absolutely anyone could have told you and no-one could have changed their plans to avoid. Hence, it not being predictable in any meaningful way. And then, for some reason, you brought in an element of each individual's intelligence into it, massively disrespecting those who died as if they were somehow at fault.
So are you now admitting you were stating something so outrageously obvious that was in turn, completely pointless to do so and you are, in fact, no smarter than anyone else at all?

You should be a politician with the way you twisted my comments to fuel your own self-righteousness! How is this attack a complete surprise when security services have been warning of a Mumbai-type attack in Europe for so long? Charlie Hebdo mean anything to you?
You knew I wasn't predicting a specific day or location in the literal sense. If you genuinely took my comment as meaning that I knew the exact plan of the perpetrators then you should either head directly to MI5, or perhaps have yourself screened for possible autism.
Accusing me of disrespecting the victims because I stay informed over the current security threat is repugnant and cheap.

Blimey this thread descended into insults & discord :disappointed:
What a world eh...
To be honest, I can understand your feelings about "Hatred" - as in light of recent events, it is easy to frame this bundle as poor taste. But then we can extend that thought to many games we all possibly play at the moment. In fact last Saturday, after having an awful night following the news & reflecting on the state of humanity, I decided to boot up my 360 and went back to play Army of Two - as I was mowing down the Cartel with an AK47, I had a sickening feeling creep over me and I realised I felt nausea at the engagement with the onscreen violence when contrasted with the plethora of images I had ingested through a live news feed a few hours before.
I had to remind myself that this was just a game, and in the real world, I'm not the kind of guy to take up arms and kill my fellow man, unless directly provoked & my life was threatened of course.
I enjoy peace and I want peace and I want a cessation to all needless violent acts and video games are simply catharsis for me and provide a window of escape from this dreary existence at times.
A game like Hatred disgusts me, but only in so far as the blatant vulgarity of the theme & the wanton exploitation of 'outrage' to sell units. As it is, the game is pretty much a universal flop & was critically speaking, panned & now resides in the bargain basement bin of a dirt cheap online bundle.
I have no interest in the game for those reasons, but morally speaking, I play GTA5 - so, who I am to take the stand and debate ethics in gaming? It's an interesting topic and perhaps there do have to be lines drawn. Perhaps. Hmm.

Except for where you said:
..which had both the exact time and location in it, and you also (just to put the cherry on top) stated that there was a lack of intelligence in all those present who were out enjoying themselves and were subsequently killed, maimed or highly traumatised.
If you don't like being held accountable for the stupid things you say, then try and have a think before you post next time. Thanks for your best wishes and you have a good one too.

I wasn't surprised a major city in Europe would be attacked in this way, never said I knew the month or exact location!
Could sit here all day debating, but this is HUKD and I couldn't be bothered anyway.
Going back to your original opinion that the bundle should be pulled, I will respectfully disagree. Have a good one.

Why don't you write a letter expressing your views to the government? You sound like such an influential libtard.

You call being well informed over the current terrorist threat pathetic? You're in for plenty more surprises in the foreseeable future if you think we're all safely wrapped in cotton wool. But you were a mummy's boy xx

I know that some people consider humour to be a good way with deal with terrible situations, but who let in the illiterate clowns?
Hint: Trolling doesn't mean when someone doesn't agree with you.
Hatred is a vile game which sours the already-poor reputation of the games industry. Not only does it do no-one any favours in the first place, but after a mass murder, a game about mass murder has no place being promoted. And do name all the other games on Steam that fit that category, because you won't find many - and don't try claiming that COD etc. is all about mass murder, before you try that. It might not be Dostoyevsky, but it at least tries to frame it in a context.

When you're ready to actually illustrate why the UK terror threat since August 2014 somehow shows that there was going to be a mass terror attack in Paris in November 2015 when no European security service was able to, please do.
In the meantime, your argument isn't even strong enough to be considered tenous but trying to claim an "I told you so" out of such a horrific situation most certainly is vulgar in the extreme. Congratulations on being truly pathetic.

Everyone's entitled to their opinion. After this weekends killing spree of innocent people, I would probably choose not to promote a game on the following Monday, where the sole purpose is a killing spree of innocent people. Don't know where Muslims came into this?
DrSanchez

Actually if you consider that the UK's terror threat level has been 'severe' since August of last year, it hardly takes Nostrodamas to predict something like this was eventually going to happen. But like I said in my previous comment, it's only obvious for someone with half a brain.

The reason why the cancelled is the whole point. You want a bunble pulled because of recent events (by that logic steam should pull most of there games at the moment).
The band pulled out due to safety, not because of what happened.
Pulling the bundle would be letting the terrorists win.
Who was trying to predict the future? I think you (schnide) will find "you literally are not in any sense".
Go troll elsewhere, good bundle

Regardless of the reasons why they cancelled, the fact is that they could. So if the site wanted to pull this bundle they quite easily could have.
And please don't pretend that you, or anyone else, had any idea that this was coming to the point where you were able to predict it because you literally are not in any sense. You're offensively stupid to suggest otherwise and hugely disrespectful to the dead in trying to.

Double Dragon Neon is pretty cool, but, if you are running Windows 10 & use an Nvidia card, prepare for unresolvable crashes back to desktop whilst playing... see the Steam forums for details. I gave up on it eventually & went on to Xbox 360 instead to play the game.

Rock bands cancelled gigs mainly because of security fears, don't see the relevance here. As for this cartoonish game - it's a game!! I'll not change my way of life one bit. Friday night in Paris was all too predictable for anyone with half a clue sadly.

Straw man? What are you talking about? OP never mentioned the relevance of religion, only the fact that it's a game about killing as many people as possible, when we've just had a terror attack in Europe designed to do the exact same thing. There's no straw man here at all.

If rock bands can pull entire gigs, digital storefronts can take down a bundle if they deem it appropriate. They should have done here, or ideally, not given this pathetic game the oxygen of exposure in the first place.

One finger death punch?
Seriously though this bundle would no doubt have been decided a good few days before the tragic events in Paris, it's not like it's some kind of deliberate callous middle finger to those affected. Plus when you consider just how many games these days have you kill hundreds of anonymous strangers in some form or another it's inevitable some of them will be on sale. Hell Battlefront, a game all about teaming up and shooting another group of people, comes out in a few days, I doubt anyone would accuse EA of poor timing for still releasing it.
On topic this is a great deal, the quality of these indiegala bundles just keeps going up and up.

Good bundle. Easily worth it for 'One Finger Death Punch' alone if you don't have it.
For me, it's worth it for a look at Hatred at least. I need to unleash the inner beast.
