Just thought I'd mention another range of books (range of fantasy novels) suitable for children 7+ - My son absolutely loves reading the collections of books by Adam Blade - Beast Quest and Sea Quest. We usually pick them up from the library, but for a present, you should be able to buy them on-line. He takes them to school and has friends asking him if they can read these books as well.

Wonderful. Can anyone recommend any great titles or collections more aimed at little girls? My 5yo daughter loves books but we're running out and she loves her girly animal themes!
Do you know what age range these are aimed at? My son is 6, but doing good at reading, would these be suitable?
