Could anybody that has one of these tell me roughly how much it weighs and how big it is please? Depending on the weight/size then postage to Oz for Xmas might cost 4 times as much as the item itself! Amazon has the weight / dimensions at the bottom of the page but I've found these to be a bit unreliable previously.

It comes with a demo book - if you post it without the book it's very light, I dunno, maybe 200g give or take. The book is hardback so obviously....probably more than doubles it. Size doesn't factor to oz via royal mail, it fits within airmail packet definitely. You don't need the book at all.

Can someone explain what this does? Does a book have to be attached? Can different stories be stored at one time for example Grandpa reading a story and another by Grandad etc. Love this idea especially to keep when those family members aren't around any more, sorry to be morbid but my dads very ill so would love to get him to record a story for my little one and keep forever x

it has a little webcam on it, and it records your speech against an image of the page, so when it sees that page again it plays the recording. This simple method allows it to play any page from any book almost instantly and in any order.
the good thing about it is you can connect it to a pc via usb and store the recordings on your pc too, so you wont lose them.
