24 month contract with o2
mobiles.co.uk
£25 phone cost
£18.50 per month
This is the cheapest I can find this phone on contract, for me it's perfect as I work from home and don't need much mobile data. The next cheapest is on vodaphone for the same contract but a £50 phone charge and £22 p/month.

RIGHT, so for a £20 saving over two years (assuming you only get £30 for a Z5 Compact?!!), you are going to choose a WileyFox + GiffGaff over a premium phone + a proper phone network?!
Good one

The phone I've had my eye on is the Zthree compact. But the new one has no memory card slot , what utter ****. They can tell me that one doesn't need one , but I know what I want.
I had a problem with my order yesterday (my fault) so called up mobiles, they were very helpful on the phone and replied to my email shortly afterwards.
I've used them in the past with a redemtion contract and providing you're not a simpleton and understand how a calendar works then you should have no problems.

seems like a good deal! mobiles.co.uk gets terrible reviews though...
Check O2, Vodaphone, EE and others....used mobiles before and no problems at all.

Try this...Get a handful of online sites you've had good experience with. You'll be surprised with most of them being low scored

So you're claiming that a Whileyfox has the same spec as a Z5 Compact then.
Wow it has a
SD 810 processor
23meg Camera
IP68 Waterproofing
32gb Ram
Fingerprint scanner
HiRes Soundchip
NFC
Class leading battery stamina
Premium build quality
I must order one then, screw Sony....

Not saying there is a problem with it mate, I'm simply saying most people don't like cashback via redemption offers which is why his deal didn't go hot!.I personally don't have an issue with them and have done them myself in the past.

Tell me about it, they all forget that their shiny new phone has a calendar they can put the dates and details into and instead worry they'll forget or the company will go bust. I've use redemption deals for the past 5 years without issue, even got half my family on a 27p a month contract a few years back. Never had a problem.

posted a similar deal 2 weeks ago for this phone.....£0 upfront and £23.50 a month (after £120 cashback via mobiles.co.uk and £20 cashback on top from TCB) with unlimited calls, texts and 3Gb of 4g data with o2. Got voted cold but i took the deal and so glad i did as haven't seen anything as good since. Great phone though - highly recommend it!!!

Most people don't like "cash back via redemption" deals.. if there was no redemption and was really at £23.75pm, it would have been scorching !

Resale value? Hahaha. My undamaged S3 was worth about £30 two years after it came out! Also I hate to burst your bubble but the maths you've just produced confirms that the Wileyfox is cheaper by almost £50. You've failed to identify a situation in which "my" deal is worse. Whoops.

Those 'ridiculous' 8 cores tend to use 4 cores for low power tasks, and 4 for high power tasks....
They aren't necessarily worse than your phone for battery life - but they are MUCH better for intensive processing tasks.
Different strokes for different folks.
By the way, your deal comes to;
24 months x £12.50 = 300
Wileyfox = £125
Total - £425.
Your phone will have zero resale value in 2 years time. This Sony will. Your deal is worse, whichever way you look at it
(I personally wouldn't buy the Z5 though. There are better options out there)
Yeh it's fast enough for anything you'd want to do on a daily basis. Web browsing is seamless. Sure it won't play the latest games at maximum, but it's a phone not a gaming PC. And the 410 means it's colder and battery life is better than these new ridiculous 8 core phones which last about 10 minutes.

Rubbish deal. A Wileyfox is £129 and you can get 500 mins, unlimited texts and 3GB data for £12pcm at Giff Gaff. Cold.

Snapdragon 410 - not much cop for Android.
GiffGaff is woeful too (particularly their data speeds!)

Seems a really good deal, was offered £34.99 for 2GB data and unltd texts/mins with EE when I rang earlier. Even with discount it's still £24 a month.

If you don't mind cashback deals you can get ultd/ultd/1Gb for £20 a month or 3gb for £22 a month too (no upfront cost). I have the Z1 compact on this deal and have had no issues with cashback.
