Warning: Only 4Gb internal memory, which could be an issue for some installing lots of apps.
Great price though - heat

Decent price but only 4gb storage for apps and games. Other than that 4g decebt size and specs snapdragon 400 with 1gb ram makes it the similar as the moto g 2nd gen

Effectivley less than 2gb will be available.
Also MotoG is 8gb internal (about 5gb useable)

micro sd slot so yes, but android 4.4 means only some apps might transfer over. Main thing would be music and photos could be stored on the SD to frwee up some space.
If it gets or you hack Marshmallow onto it and add an sd card it'll be fine as you can adopt the card as internal storage

If you are looking for a Sony, make sure you get one above 8GB, 16GB should be fine. I had an Xperia M4 with 8GB, it had only 1.7GB free on first use, and was left with only 200MB free after completing updates to the pre-installed apps.

Sony will be releasing Marshmallow for the E3 as they've released the binaries so it will definitely get 6.0 one way or another so the internal storage is NOT a problem in the long run, obviously initially you'll be stuck with 4GB but once you get 6.0 on it you'll be sorted.

If that`s the case, then this is a good price from a top manufacturer for the most budget of handsets.

It was in the list of released binaries from Sony so like I said it will either get it officially or if not it WILL get custom ROMs so not a problem either way

they are payg tariffs.
so unless you stick the sim in and then go online and activate no.
you could select a tariff for you to use. or get a giffgaff or tesco mobile sim in and enjoy

XDA sure there is some roms out there
.. although with this sort of phone I would imagine most buyers are not into this sort of stuff and would find it confusing, none the less if on a budget people should learn how to tweak

unbelievable price for a brand android!

18 Nov 15#38
Or if they might be more tempted into it because of the limited internal storage, nearly everyone knows someone who could do this for them, most of these little independant repair shops would likely do it for a few notes too. Well worth doing for Marshmallow because that little storage fix makes so many phones actually usable. I struggle with my S5's internal storage and that's with 128GB card installed just waiting for CM13 to be stable and it's going on it

The Sony Xperia is one of the most underrated cell phones on the market. I personally think it is great. I have been using it for a while and cannot complain. Good price!

you'd be relying on custom roms
