Just ordered a set of these. Hot!
Been reading online, that the old version of these worked with the Xbox one. I presume this is still the case, however I have a question. Can these just be plugged directly into the 3.5mm jack on the Xbox One controller?

No chance, price matches are usually just for the time of sale, and if moneys been transferred then you've already entered the contract with them at that price.

I ordered the white headset. if it's a stock issue, I'm surprised the website is still allowing people to buy it. I got an email a couple of hours after I posted though to say that the item will be ready to collect in store after 3pm on Tuesday. So that's basically an extra 2 weeks on top of the usual couple of days.

It's not a stock issue. All Tesco Direct orders are running late. They are doing the best to make everyone shop at Amazon it seems.
