Posting this based purely on the fact that I purchased a Wii U Pro Controller from the Tesco Outlet back in September that was listed under the same item specifics and turned up brand new.
It does come in a brown box which indicates that it won't (obviously) be in a brand new state, but its a £6 saving on the next cheapest available DS4 price.

Heat from me for the price buzz, although personally with black Friday around the corner I'm holding off on most things atm

Because you had a refurbished product turn up new doesn't mean they all will be. They are controllers that have previously be used, you should only buy a refurbished product if you are happy with imperfections.
Would need to be sub £25 to be worth it in my opinion.

I didn't insinuate it would be, I was telling a little story about my purchase from Tesco Outlet, I even went on to state...

Personally, and no offence meant, I think it heavily insinuates that or at the very least will get some peoples' hopes up even if you didn't intend it.

It most certainly wasn't my intention  I'll cut back on the story telling / purchase experiences in future
In all honesty though, its easy enough to return it if you're not happy with it. I'm not 100% but you can also return to store?
P.S, no offence taken.

Have they stopped beating only amazon now? I gave up on them when they did that. Amazon is rarely the cheapest for many things unless matching a competitor and I'd usually rather benefit from prime delivery than wait 24 hours to be offered 50p-£1 off then another 3-5 days for delivery.

Seems worth a try, I guess.

AAAAAMMMMAZING DEAL! Just ordered 3! And got an additional 10% OFF for ordering more than 1. So 3 for £87 with free delivery! Thanks Buzz. Got my PS3, PSVITA and a bunch of other things from the Tesco eBay store. They've always been good with the few returns I've made. Chuffed to bits. 4 player local co-op all Christmas!!

I'm sure brand new ones were selling at a lot of places this time last year for £30 ??? Also you have to think how much effort are they going to bother putting into a refurbished controller - the battery might be old and the joypads worn/loose etc unless they were the reason for the refurbishment.
Spend a little extra and get a brand new one with nice tight buttons, joysticks and a battery that will last a whole day :b
I should point out that I'm not against refurbished stuff, but for me there has to be a substantial saving from new like my vax air reach refurbished hoover costing £35 rather than £100 brand new.

Yes, you can do it via bluetooth or USB, you can also use it with android phones without rooting. If you using it on your PC download XInputMapper.

Received my controller. Looks practically brand new on first inspection. I'll have a proper look when I get back home.
