Not the best headphones in the world, but for less than a tenner you can't go wrong! 4 colours. £5 cheaper than Amazon, have seen these in Tesco for £25!

Argos is cheaper than Argos?
I'm confused!

At 9.99 Argos' product insurance is only £1.50 for three years.
If you keep the receipt and box you can have as many pairs as you like in that time.
Ive had about 6 pairs of these in the past!

Just about to buy four of these for xmas presents for niece and nephews, wondered if you had to take out the insurance again after the replacements, as I had a look for that product insurance and came across this answer

Hi, thank you for your question.
I have checked this for you and If the product is replaced then the plan will end, a new plan can be purchased on the replacement if required. A second replacement is therefore not possible on this plan.
Thank you for using Q & A.
Thanks
p.s Obviously, I would argue the toss that the item replacement should still be covered under the product insurance until THAT ends, and have had success in the past.
In my very subjective opinion the Phillips sound marginally better, and have a slightly larger internal speaker size according to the packaging. It is very marginal though.
They seem to be about the same in terms of build quality as well.
They are about the same comfort and about the same size when folded.
My opinion? Both are good choices for the money, I think the the Sonys I bought in blue look sexier if that matters to you, as opposed to the Philips in black. Other than breakdowns I think the majority of people will be happy with either.

Picked them up today, tried to charge me £4.99 for insurance which was only for 2 years. When I queried it, they got a leaflet out and said this is the up-to-date insurance and changed it to £1.50 for 3 years.
