people who haven't played this, it's a must buy for GTA fans alike. really enjoyed this. played side by side with the ps3 version and this resembles the PC version. people had problems with lag.... but I haven't.

I was watching someone play it last week and was surprised how good it looked up against my memories of it from 2012 or whatever. Handily I have it on my Ps4 HDD already from a EU or US Psn deal.

Might give this a punt now. I held off playing the PS+ version (due to backlog) and then heard this version would come along. My only concern is that Eurogamer (DF) weren't too kind on the PS4/XBO port.... But £10 (not even 3 pints my way) seems like a no brainer, even if it's pants.

Why not get in both beds? You're depriving yourself of the experience of a lot of good games that are only on consoles. If you can afford to build a capable gaming PC then surely money isn't really an issue? I obviously don't know your age or background, but I'd be surprised if, as a gamer, you didn't grow up playing on consoles. It's really shouldn't be an us vs them issue and folks like you pushing that agenda isn't cool.

So you can build a new PC of power on par with a PS4 (however you'd measure that) with the components, OS and peripherals required to play games on it, all for £250? I don't believe you. Besides, my comment wasn't designed to fish for a passive-aggressive snubbing of consoles. I was asking what's to stop you having fingers in both pies? Why must there be a divide? Why do you feel the need to denigrate consoles and their owners? Totally unnecessary. And aren't there games on consoles that you wish you could play (ethics/impact of platform exclusivity in gaming aside)? The Last of Us, Bloodborne, Until Dawn, Uncharted, Infamous, Resogun, Halo, Gears + God of War, Sunset Overdrive, Quantum Break, Rise of the Tomb Raider, ALL Nintendo games etc etc. I'd be surprised if there's nothing there for you.
