Plenty of deals available. I've gone for the following. It's the cheapest 4g deal I could find.
ID mobiles
Plan iD: GT10-IC063
500 mins
5000 texts
2GB 4G data
1 month rolling contract
£10 per month
£5.25 topcashback too
Plenty of other deals available from £5 a month.
ID Mobiles uses 3 network, which I've never had a problem with in terms of coverage. I'm not sure of ID mobiles customer service though, but looks like a great deal for what you get.

No. Because it is 3g and who uses more than 5000 texts. OK you may use 500 mins but most ppl won't!

I looked at the virgin deal, as you said it's 3G. I prefer quick 4G internet. I don't use that many minutes so it suited me much better.

The only thing extra you get with gif gaff is unlimited texts. Hardly anyone uses them, even if they do you won't use 5000 of them. And it's £2 more per month.

And they rob you of your data.
I was playing subway surfer and all of a sudden i got a message from them that i had run out of data i supposed to have used 1.2gb in about an hour i couldn't believe it the robbing bar***ds.

According to quidco there's £40 cash back on all 12 month sim only deals.
But I can't find any 12 month sim only deals. When I filter to 12 months of just says no deals.

Not bad, I'd still prefer the 12m Voda sim only deal @mobiles.

Please check out customer service ratings- just google to find. There are many appalling reviews.
I thought I'd be ok, signed up for a 12 month takeaway (free roaming in a number of countries) and have had a 2 month nightmare of being put on wrong price plans, customer services who while polite don't seem empowered to sort anything.

It's all about Post Office, they use the EE network and have the same deal as you've posted but for £10pm...
It's more likely the app(s) that you have, rather than them "robbing" you

I would switch to this but i take advantage of three's feel at home too much, worth the extra £2 a month for that alone - despite half the amount of calling minutes and data

From 3 you get unlimited texts, 200 minutes and 2gb data for £10. Going to ring them to see if they'll increase my minutes for free

I've pulled the trigger.
Left 3 after they could'nt offer me a good deal after unlimited everything for £15 got canned.
Went to giffgaff and whilst the phone service is good, the internet is dire. Terrible ping speeds and internet contention.
Hopefully going back on 3 will fix that.

They're one of the only networks to do proper capping on charges - so ideal for kids, but you need to go for one of their "Shockproof" tariffs which are more expensive.

giffgaff I found rubbish, O2's network lags behind. 3 is the only one I'd go with now as EE charge too much

Also an option to get 3GB data allowance for only £2.50 more per month for the more data hungry users.

Anyone know what happens if you run out of data? Do you get auto charged and if so at what rate? Or does it stop working and you have to call up to buy more?

What's the deal with tethering with these guys, their website is not very clear
"Please note that we do not allow tethering on any of our current plans. If you do use this service it is likely to use up large amounts of your data allowance very quickly, and you will be liable to pay any charge that may occur if you go over your allowance. Please check for updates on our website as this may change in the future."
Okay, so does this mean you're not suppose to, but if you do, you just might hit your allowance (which is fine)?
Are there are a choice of sim sizes for different phones?

Has anyone seen the new SIM plans at Talkmobile (not Talktalk). Sadly only 3G but offering 1GB data and 1000 mins for £7.50 or 2GB and 3000 mins for a tenner. I've just ordered one to give it a go : http://talkmobile.co.uk/shop/sim-only

If you don't need the minutes ID mobile has 1GB 4G data (and 250 mins) for £7.50

I haven't been able to port my number across from my old contract as the MyID site has been down since yesterday evening.
I've been through their twitter page and there's nothing but compaints - http://twitter.com/ID_Mobile_UK
Starting to doubt my decision to move..
