Even though the data is 3G, isn't Virgin mobile tariff of £12 SIM only with unlimited minutes and texts plus 2 GB data better value?

I looked at the virgin deal, as you said it's 3G. I prefer quick 4G internet. I don't use that many minutes so it suited me much better.

The only thing extra you get with gif gaff is unlimited texts. Hardly anyone uses them, even if they do you won't use 5000 of them. And it's £2 more per month.

According to quidco there's £40 cash back on all 12 month sim only deals.

But I can't find any 12 month sim only deals. When I filter to 12 months of just says no deals.

Not bad, I'd still prefer the 12m Voda sim only deal @mobiles.

Please check out customer service ratings- just google to find. There are many appalling reviews.
I thought I'd be ok, signed up for a 12 month takeaway (free roaming in a number of countries) and have had a 2 month nightmare of being put on wrong price plans, customer services who while polite don't seem empowered to sort anything.

It's all about Post Office, they use the EE network and have the same deal as you've posted but for £10pm...

I would switch to this but i take advantage of three's feel at home too much, worth the extra £2 a month for that alone - despite half the amount of calling minutes and data

From 3 you get unlimited texts, 200 minutes and 2gb data for £10. Going to ring them to see if they'll increase my minutes for free

I've pulled the trigger.
Left 3 after they could'nt offer me a good deal after unlimited everything for £15 got canned.
Went to giffgaff and whilst the phone service is good, the internet is dire. Terrible ping speeds and internet contention.
Hopefully going back on 3 will fix that.

They're one of the only networks to do proper capping on charges - so ideal for kids, but you need to go for one of their "Shockproof" tariffs which are more expensive.

giffgaff I found rubbish, O2's network lags behind. 3 is the only one I'd go with now as EE charge too much

Anyone know what happens if you run out of data? Do you get auto charged and if so at what rate? Or does it stop working and you have to call up to buy more?

NO i updated the apps over wifi just before i started playing the game that's how i know it was gg.

I got the vodafone 12 months unlimited min and text and 2 gb data for £12 per month.

Signed up to IDmobile but had to cancel as there was no signal where I live despite their coverage checker saying it should be ok

Just got my pac code from ID, they cant even change your tariff once you are signed up to them? Crazy.

What's the deal with tethering with these guys, their website is not very clear

Okay, so does this mean you're not suppose to, but if you do, you just might hit your allowance (which is fine)?
