The double tick of the second hand is how it indicates that the battery is low

How good is this at keeping time, i.e. how much does it loose or gain time please?

I was looking at this watch and the 20% off codes that I tried (including the one on the post) and it wouldn't accept them

Looks nice, I've had a Seiko automatic watch for 9 years now and it still works perfectly.

Sounds like yours is a kinetic auto relay. I have had mine for 17 years bought at Dubai airport for £170 and never failed once.

Seiko kinetic watches can build up a store of energy that'll help them ticking for up to six months. On mine the button above the crown operates a power indicator.

How long does it remain operational if not worn ? I have solar watches that I can wear occasionally and remain charged as long as not left in a drawer. Any automatic watches I have owned barely last 24 hours.

I've had one almost 20 years. It stops working after about 4 days but a quick shake (even after a year) and it will find the correct time. The date doesn't catch up though. I found that if I don't wear it for a very long time, the second hand isn't smooth (like a double tick then a long gap) but if I wear it for about a week, it will sort itself out.
