Seems pretty cheap for a 50 inch TV and reviews tend to be better than those of the Bush or Sharp equivalents.

No Vestel sets are much better than these with proper decent menus and a decent TV guide.

This just has coaxial out for audio right. No optical?

I bought the 55" last month. V impressive picture though it needed a sound bar for richer tone

Saying "seems pretty cheap for a 50" TV!" about these is akin to being offered a Mini Metro at £75 and going "£75 seems pretty cheap for a car!"

Input lag massively effects gaming.. your comment seems to be the immature one.

No, quite the opposite - it's a TV, for watching TV on - why are all these grown men on here concerned about being able to play games?? It's the same thing with EVERY TV deal, boring and sad.

Maybe because us grown men, like to play games as a form of media entertainment, most of us grew up as kids playing them and now we can carry on the entertainment form into adulthood with games specifically made with adults in mind..
seriously stop trolling.

Well us adults like to know if a TV has a good picture, good sound, built in HD tuners etc. As far as I see it (and I would hope I'm not alone in this) we don't need to know how Sonic the Hedgehog looks on them!

You are looking at a SEIKI and expecting good picture, good sound and plural tuners! but HD tuners..
I think that sums you up, I would say my love for gaming, means I know what i am talking about when it comes to buying a decent TV, along with a real audio through a decent AV Receivers..
I wouldn't put this pile of crap in my kids bedrooms, while they are playing with graphics like this, they will need decent TV
I play Sonic The Hedgehog on my 10 year old dumbphone.. you sir have less intelligence than the processor that powers my living room TV.

I wouldn't have a Seiki TV, or a Polaroid, Bush, Blaupunkt etc. etc.
That isn't my point at all.
I'm really impressed with your example though, thanks for sharing, I'm just going to change my underwear due to excitement, then go and find a games console I can buy tonight.
Not.
p.s. I can almost guarantee my living room TV is better than yours

Is the latency really that bad? I play on a Sony KDL32EX503 which has poor latency but doesn't really cause me any issues.

pathetic comments of certain individual.
good find op. for those who want a big sized tv led full HD. and who want a tiny price.
I got the 55" for a similar price after discounts from Ao.com a month or so ago. I have an xb1 and ps4 hooked up to it in the man cave games look great on it. I haven't had a problem with input lag, but the consoles frame rate on aaa titles are locked to 30fps so unlikely to have any issues if this is your input source. Maybe if you were going to hook up a top end Pc to it but why would you do that you would spend more on a screen if you are spending £500 on a graphics card.

I think digital coaxial out but I'm not 100% sure. I went to pcworld today to have a look for myself but they don't have them on display.
