I thought you couldn't use an external hard drive to install games on PS4?

Some external drives u can open the case and use the HD inside but answered this myself can't do it anyway. Sourced a Samsung drive to replace my small 500gig for me ps4

A few 1TB in Kendal yesterday, but personally I'd get a 2TB for the same price (or a few quid more) elsewhere

Wild goose chase, at least around here.
None in Ayr, Kilmarnock or Irvine Asda stores, don't waste your time.
Also none of the cheap Xbone games either.
I bought the lightning deal from Amazon earlier, got an additional £3 off on the NUS card (gives you the discount off the full price and then the lightning deal on top, nice.)

I think £20 for 500GB is a good deal but the 1TB isnt worth it. It'll be ceaper to buy 2 drives at 500 GB

How easy is it download all of your dvds to store on one of these?
How many films would you roughly get on to a 2TB?

You would need some software to rip and encode the DVDs on your computer into a digital format such as .avi or .mp4. The quality would all depend on the codec/compression format that you choose. You could easily keep HD quality at around 2GB per movie so would get *roughly* 1000 movies onto your 2TB HDD.

Amazon has the 1tb at £39.99 or the 2tb at £49.99 (lightning deal, normal price £59.99)
Edit: Lightning dead finished.

So basically £20.00 for 500gb is still decent i think but all to your own lol

Thought that 2TB was going for around £50 - £55 these days? Just seems a bit pricey for 500g and 1TB

To be fair that was my thoughts too...

Hey can I ask a question is it easy and plugging in a hd into the Xbox ? Or do you have to format it

You plug it in via usb and the xbox formats it for you to its platform
