You're right about the BTU. Compare them against a half decent towel rail and it's normally only half or a third of the output.

For the people who have posted comments about rust there's an easy and simple way to get rid of rust that has developed on chrome - get some tin foil and dab the rust spot with some water, rub the tin foil over the rust and it starts to come off, there are videos on youtube that prove it works - i did this on my sons bike and it came up like new....
it works like magic!

Trust me I have done this and it does work, but it just comes right on back. You really shouldn't have to go to these lengths.

I would never buy anything for the bathroom made from chrome on steel - it will rust. Chrome on brass (e.g. taps) are OK

Mine is rusting like a deuce and the heat output is terrible. I'm swapping mine for a small type 22.

Poor quality these. Have heard numerous mentions of rust. Price is great but you get what you pay for.
