Better to just buy an actual Haribo pack and avoid that Mail garbage.

I went to RS McColl to redeem but they had given away all the promo stock....:disappointed:
They let me choose whatever other sweets I wanted in the store up to £2 so I got some large Smarties gift tubes for stocking fillers

Downside is you have to buy The Mail, I'd rather buy the sweets at full price.

True, but I shop at Waitrose so I didn't have to pay for it :man:

Best not buy the mail or eat the sweets. One will rot your mind and the other will rot your teeth.

Ha Ha, aren't we witty this morning - I was merely pointing out how annoying a limited appeal offer is, especially when it's probably splashed all over the front page of a national newspaper to make some suckers buy it if they're in a hurry and don't read the small print.
I'm nowhere near one of those newsagents myself, in fact it would probably take me around two hours to get to one this particular morning as I'm on holiday.
I think also that the headline here should mention how limited this offer is, as I'm sure many hot voters will just click without reading anything....... perhaps a crafty move to get extra votes, although I can't see why it would matter.

Cold from me - not everyone lives near one of those newsagents. I've got friends who live in rural areas with only small local shops, and a supermarket perhaps ten miles away.
I imagine many city suburbs won't have one within easy reach of lots of people either, so rather a limited appeal.
Why not make it open for any retailer......of course that would mean the DM would have to fund this promotion themselves, rather than getting McColls to pay most of it.

I know people who live in America but I'll still vote this hot because it's convenient for ME
(oh and I live in the suburbs and there are THREE participating stores within 5 miles of my home, the closest 2 are less than a mile away)

What a stupidly narrow minded comment voting cold just because it doesn't suit you. Vote based on the actual deal

Well if you and your friends, or at least your friends, are fortunate enough to afford a place in the suburbs then perhaps they won't feel the need to grumble over a bag or two of Haribo and will feel more proud supporting their truely local village shop by paying the full price!
Wouldn't call it limited anyway. Isn't there an RSMcColls in every train station they can fit one in. You could tell all your suffering friends to take a train to the big city and get out and about for the day...
