Price in euros is 504.90. When you get to the basket, and change the currency, it comes out as GBP 380.92.
This is the cutdown FURY X but you can unlock it for more streaming processors.
See here for more details: http://cxzoid.blogspot.cz/2015/09/r9-fury-unlocking-simplified.html
In the UK the cheapest is ~ £430, so a saving of around 50 quid.
Nice card for 1440p or 4K (obviously you would need to cut down the settings quite a bit for 4K).

Can't wait for Vulkan. It'll give people the chance to use Linux as their main gaming platform, so cheaper builds.
I doubt there'll be much performance differences between it and DX12 but it's multi-platform (Android, Mac, etc).

Google nvidia Pascal and AMD Arctic Islands. 2016 is all I can find but my guess would be we still have close to a year to wait still.

Do you know when the next generation rumoured to be available?

Very nice. I'm happy to wait and see before upgrading.
I'm in no rush and I'm going to get a free boost in performance anyway on Directx12 without having to go out and get a new GPU. Plus I hear the next generation of cards from both AMD and Nvidea should show quite big jumps in performance. There's always something better on the horizon but I think the next line of cards are worth waiting for if you can.

I get at the moment about a 27% increased framerate with an i7 and 7950.
37% CPU framerate.

The 390 is doing great in DX12. I don't think the Fiji GPU's are worth it right now at their price.
A big part of DX12's performance is the combination of CPU and GPU. For example, a 8350 with a 290x will see a lot of benefits.

Got an i5 4670K which should hold up well enough as well hopefully

Yep, I've got a 290 which is doing a great job still so can imagine the 390 will be about the same but slightly better. I was really tempted to buy a 980ti but decided to skip a generation to see what both AMD and Nvidea can offer.
Went for a monitor upgrade to 144hz and 2540x1440 instead and glad to say the 290 still holds up rather well. Waiting to see if there are more benefits with Directx 12 before I make another GPU buy.

Have my mind set on r 390 but wouldn't mind something more powerful the next step up .. But thanks for advice

Be careful with what Ferrari says, he's extremely biased towards AMD. He has a moral issue with NVIDIA's business practice and is not impartial.
Pretty much all of the 'info' he gave you needs caveats and clarifications.
You can see the Nano isn't competing with the 980ti, unless you squint really hard and ignore the fact that the 980 trades blows with it on many tests.
And if you squint really hard at the prices, you may think it's cheaper than the 980ti.
You'll find the nano selling for almost identical prices as the 980ti and the Amd Fury X.
It's a pretty hard sale to suggest the Nano is worth picking up over the Fury X or the 980Ti.
Unless you have a SFF build that won't fit a larger card.

The first part of your comment is just an opinion based on no evidence at the moment.
The Nano is competing against the 980/390x in Ashes of the Singularity DX12 which is lackluster for the price.
The VRAM efficiency is most likely more due to GCN 1.2 not HBM which the 285 and 380 benefit from.

This has 4gb of ram yet the r 390 amd has 8gb . I know this gpu is better but is it likely games will need more vram and the 390 is a safer bet and it's cheaper
Ferrari100 to wakkaday

Due to the benefits of hbm memory games use less vram. Example, GTA 4k uses only 2.5Gb ram on my PC around 40% less than gddr5 memory uses.

I have an AMD Nano which is actually a slightly underclocked Fury X GPU on a smaller PCB
This Fury deal is for a lower binned Fury X on a fury X PCB with massive heatsink to keep it almost silent. It is less than 5% off Nvidias 980Ti performance but it will match/beat that (like fury x) with next driver update.

this will support directt 12?
Ferrari100 to kyrusdemnati
1 Nov 15#23
Most definitely yes. It will handle DX12 games better than Nvidia who failed to include hardware based A-Sync compute in their GPU's.
Finally, AMD is due to release their new Omega drivers shortly that will improve performance even further.
Hard to think that my AMD Nano, similar to this GPU, is almost competing with Nvidia more expensive 980TI (currently around -5 to -10% performance) GPU and it''s 20% more power efficient and only half the size!
Also, HBM memory is great and really does improve the gaming experience overall.

Sapphire, it is this card.
But like others said it is not a guaranteed unlock. Although it seems most unlock 50% of the way to a Fury X.

I have the Asus version and unlocked the cores (3840) gaming at 4k, highly recommended at this price as the Sapphire has dual bios support and is a very quiet card.
