Made a mistake with the price including delivery and can't figure out how to put it right using my mobile! If you could fix it mods that would be awesome!

£8.70 postage is seriously steep. Still decent though

Nothing wrong with Overclockers. I had a water cooler replaced by the manufacturer this week that I bought from Overclockers. They didn't send me any liquid of dyes. I told
Overclockers and they send me the items out very next day, no quibble. I don't get the issue with them! Always had a good service

I've just received one of these from Overclockers and I have to say their service is far superior to the dismal service I received from Amazon Prime last week with Amazon taking over three days to fulfil a supposed next-day delivery order. Overclockers not only delivered this as promised the following day but were also able to provide me with an expected delivery time window of one hour. Their communication throughout the entire order/delivery process kick Amazon's into the dust.

I added some tags to the deal so people with e-mail alerts for SSDs will get it. I added a detail about the postage to the description, but I'm not a mod, so I can't change the price.
I've "reported" the post, just so a mod sees it and changes it for you.
Good price, that postage is a killer for some I'm sure.

Am looking for two 500gb for a raid 0 setup, would these be as good as Samsung Evos or should I wait for Friday?
Te reason overclockers are giving u a 33% discount and calling it black friday deal is because that SSD is not worth more and SSD prices are hopefully coming down soon. They wont give a 33% discount on a top range AMD graphics card.

this is BS, this is about the normal price for the drive, no way it normally retails at £150+delivery, i mean sandisk ffs

Seriously? Some people need to do research before they post their usual opinionated BS Here is an Anandtech review with all the stats etc - make of it what you will be in the real world will you notice any difference between this and any other 512gb drive in the same price bracket? Oh wait there is no other 512gb ssd less than £100 (if you qualify for free shipping)
From what I can tell this is the cheapest 512gb drive available at this moment in time and unless someone can post one cheaper this is hot

Heat added. Yes, if you aren't a forum member with a certain amount of posts they do have the most expensive shipping costs around, but their customer service and RMA departments are incredibly fast and efficient. Only Amazon has better returns than these guys, and that's saying something.

One thing I don't understand is that with Amazon deals the "free" prime delivery option is in bold despite the fact you have to pay for it.
Yet with OcUK free delivery means free, and yet the bold price includes the delivery cost.

Usually because with Amazon there are multiple delivery options, and usually a free delivery option, it may take 5 days though.

How can you tell if a HDD will work in a macbook. I've got a 2011 13" macbook pro looking to replace the HDD

According to this post on apple, any drive that is 9.5mm or less in height will fit.
In this case checking the specs, the X300 is a 7mm height drive. So it will fit, though it may not fit completely flush with the cage, but that shouldn't be an issue.
While I was researching this, I also came across quite a comprehensive guide on how to replace the drive if you're unsure.

I bought an 8GB RAM kit from OC. They sent a 4GB kit. I called them to tell them they sent the wrong kit and they INSISTED that I send the RAM back at my expense as I no longer wanted the product. I was blue in the face telling them that I wanted 8GB, not 4GB, but they wouldn't have it. They told me I ordered 4GB even though the order clearly showed 8GB KIT.
I spoke to 3 different people before I managed to get someone with half a brain to understand why it wasn't my fault.

Any time I order from Amazon it comes by dpd and they give a one hour window.
Sounds like you had one bad experience with Amazon and are condemning then for it. I've had about 40 orders from them this year, and only 2 were late, for which they extended my prime by a month each time. Unbeatable.

Yes I do condemn Amazon because they told me that Amazon Prime next-day delivery does not mean next day from day of order, but next day from day of dispatch as is stated in their T&C's, although their advertising suggests delivery is next day from day of order. Amazon were reprimanded by the ASA back in 2012 for this same issue, but it seems they are still misleading consumers to this effect by not making it clear when you pay your £79 for this so-called 'prime' service. In my case, even after Amazon promised a delivery windows of 12 hours they still managed to miss it by a further 24 hours, it seems they take the whole of the £79 as clear profit and not used any of it to deliver the service as promised.
Although I've been a Prime customer since August, they've agreed to refund the whole of the Prime fee and cancelled my membership, it seems they had no other reparation they could offer. From my recent experience with Amazon I would not recommend them to anyone.
