Has anyone used one as a memory upgrade on a MacBook Pro? My son has filled his 120GB memory and I wonder if this is an effective, cheap solution without too much speed penalty?

It would work but wouldn't be anywhere near as fast as the SSD in the macbook when reading and writing data. Perfectly usable though unless he plans on moving huge files about between the two.

It might be a silly question, would this work on a GoPro? Thanks

For high quality video, 4k etc, you need a fast write speed - this one doesn't even tell you what the speed is so it's probably not very good.

Yep, have two and they work a treat. 18 hours of 1080p per card :-)

What is it with the desire people seem to have on here to state what device they're going to use with these cards and the fact they own those devices. It might be totally innocent at times but it looks a bit pathetic to emphasise that you own a product like that. There's no need.
Maybe I'm just getting a bit long in the tooth because this thing probably won't work with my clapped out, battered Samsung Galaxy Note One. But just think how much pride you'd have in owning such a device if you were a poor African or something and thibk how poor people feel when you emphasise the fact you can afford expensive electronics when others can't.

I had similar card(class 10) in my Sony Z3 and 4K video lagged sometimes. I bought faster U1 card(20gb write speed) and problem's gone. So I recommend fast cards for 4K recording.

Is it really that bad when trying to record 4K video from phone using this particular card? don't have a 4K recording phone just now but want to get the Z5 Premium in the future, and was buying this card in anticipation for recording 4K video using that phone, there are reviews on amazon which says 4K recording is ok?

I didn't have this particular card. I had Lexar 32gb class 10 card, but assume write speeds are similar for class 10 cards...

Still hoping the 200GB one comes down a bit more before Christmas.
