Not bad price for 240GB. Maybe Black Friday will bring something better.
Quoted price is with Amazon Currency conversion. Possible better price when paying in EURO.

the Samsung drive appears to come with their "magician" software for cloning your drive, what free software would you use with the San disk?

I use the free version of EaseUS Disk Copy booted from a CD. I even used it to clone my 320gb PS3 drive to a 750gb and it worked fine.

I've bought from Amazon.de before and had to return the item. Returns service was as simple as if I had bought it from the UK.

I believe you can often get the Samsung 850 EVO for about £60 which I understand is a significantly better drive. With a UK supplier too, so somewhere to easily turn to if things go wrong.

Where does this get dispatched from? Eu sarl ?

Eu sarl is nothing to do with where its shipped from, that relates to payment processing only, i.e their tax loophole.
it will ship either from country you are buying from, i.e france or possibly uk just depends what is most convenient.
