A 4TB portable ( USB-powered) hard drive at a good price. Nearly £139 on Amazon and dearer elsewhere based on a quick Googel search. Sorry but I know nothing about MobyMemory.
I have several 2TB Seagate Expansion and Backup Plus portable drives with Samsung drives inside. The advent of 3TB and 4TB portable drives is a useful step forward though I believe that this unit has two 2TB drives inside.
First post after lurking for over 7 years (is that a record?) so go easy!
EDIT: Good review on TechRadar at http://www.techradar.com/reviews/pc-mac/pc-components/storage/disk-drives-hdd-ssd/samsung-m3-portable-4tb-1301619/review which indicates that it is one 4TB drive inside (Samsung Spinpoint M10P) using SMR recording technology. MobyMemory mentioned as a cheap supplier at end of the review.
2nd EDIT: Belatedly noticed 5% discount code - 'mobymemory'. Now applied to price in title.

Note that it's an SMR disk inside here, so fine for backup and archive, but might not be ideal for frequently changing data. (EDIT: as pointed out in the description, missed that in there the first time around).
That said, I'm not sure how many use cases there really are that entail 4TB of frequently changing data and need an external, portable drive.

Hi shrek. The website does indeed show a final price of £124.56. However, the discounted VAT exclusive price of £103.98 appears to be based on a 4% discount to £108.32 - it should be £102.90. Both the discount amount and the VAT shown are correctly based on £102.90. (The VAT on £103.98 would be £20.97 not £20.58.) Strange!
Assuming my observations are correct, should I change the price to fall in line with the website's miscalculation?

Now done so hope that ok (with minor correction to discounted price in previous comment).

Many thanks to all those who helped make my first deal a hot one.
Please note that there is also a 5% discount code - 'mobymemory' - which makes the price an even better £123.45 give or take a penny. I didn't notice the code until well after I posted and didn't want to edit again as I'm not sure about the editing rules.

You should add that price to title and add code to description if you can

A best price for this drive I have seen yet, a very nice find.
I am waiting for these to get in line with the smaller drive price per TB, and there are 2TB ones for about 55-60£ there and then.
If this ever goes under 110£ I am buying it... Possibly even around 120£. If I don't use up the remaining 300 GB of my current 2TB drive that is...

This 4tb doesn't work in PS4 i believe for those of thinking to swap it out to one. It's size is a little bit for clearance in the HDD caddy bay.
