I currently own the Note 3 and iPhone 6S and played with the Note 5 for long enough (1 week) to know that I want one! However, without any doubt I can say that he 6S in day to day use is superior to the Note's. Smoother, faster, and iOS app quailty, for the most part, is far better imo (even Googles own apps are better on iOS). I was going to upgrade to a 6S from the Note 3, but I have become too dependand on some Android and Note apps, so will move towards the Note 5 instead.
If you're are not in the same boat, then I recommend the 6S. Especially if you're looking to sell your phone after a year or two. The S6 is not worth what it'll cost you when you come to sell it. Plus the lag issue on the S6 phone is just embarassing from Samsung. The Note 5 works beautifully, don't know what they did to mess the S6 up.

Don't you have to pay around 4-6 quid when returning something to Amazon for "Change of mind"?

Yes i think you do. Be very careful if you're thinking of buying to 'test ' and hoping to return for free for change of mind

If you are buying and hoping for a better deal on Black Friday, I believe buying ONLINE from carphonewarehouse is the best option. You can return for a refund within 14days. If you buy from the store, you can only exchange it to a different phone.

If he keeps it in box like he says he will do then they can't charge him to change his mind, though they can tell him to cough up the return delivery fee.
If he uses it then they can make a deduction for the loss in value from that use.

of course not, amazon cannot do that (min14 days) and specially if the box isn't open. YOu can say wrong size, colour, etc,,
I'm Prime anyhow so all good.

I'm having difficulty finding the £4 to £6 charge for a return. Is this in the Conditions of Sale?
In the Conditions of Sales, I see
This particular mobile phone would appear not to fall within the exceptions to the right of cancellation. Making use of the statutory right to cancel would seem to be advantageous as compared to using the "Voluntary Returns Guarantee":

Lol, I'm not apple biased. I've got a note 4. You can't deny that the 6s is better than the s6. 6s has better battery, force touch. S6 has better screen and camera.
"Refund of costs of shipping the item back to us if cancellation? No "
I recently had to return an unopened item to Amazon - they took the return delivery cost (£5.99) out of my refund. You could always say it was faulty or you were unhappy with quality of the item - if you really want to avoid paying for the return.

I have prime too, and I am talking through experience of returning an Avent 2-in-1 sterilizer a day after it was delivered because I got the 3-in-1 at a better price through a daily deal. A return delivery charge of 6 quid was taken out of the refund when the courier picked it up. If you are returning it to a collection centre it will be 4 quid.
It was because I was honest about the reason for the return, I could have avoided it by choosing a different reason for the return.

You must be an caveman, no it doesn't perform better than the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge, in fact the Galaxy S6 and S6 perform ibetter than the Iphone 6 6S
In its "Geekbench 3" test, which is designed to measure a device's processor power, "the Galaxy S6 came out with an average score of 4850... [whereas] the iPhone 6S went through the same rigorous testing and came out the other side with an average score of 4417.
Oh yeah don't forget the **** resolution of the iphone 6s: 1334x750 while the galaxy s6/6 edge: 1440 x 2560,

Lol, calm down. Forget benchmarks, the 6s is faster and smoother in day to day usage. Same with battery, you see legions of s6 owners complaining about battery life. Not so with the 6s.

Lol somebody blinded by the specs and doesn't know what their talking about.
iPhone performs better than the S6, its in the proof of the A9 chip which quite literally is a beast.
Yes, the S6 did once have bad battery life (at the same time, last gen's iPhone 6 had absolutely atrocious battery life). The S6's battery issues have since been resolved via the 5.1 update, with battery performance currently being miles better than the 6S in real world usage (as evidenced by the link posted earlier). The 6S also lacks wireless charging and fast charging, which means it takes 140 minutes to charge fully as opposed to the S6's 68 minutes. That's despite the S6 being a generation older than the 6S.
While the S6 and 6S are both blazing fast and open apps almost instantly, I will say that the 6S - though less powerful - is definitely a fraction faster on most counts due to the S6's pathetic RAM management. The S6 is actually pushing out 300% more pixels than the 6S but, still, this will hopefully be properly optimised in Android M to turn the S6 into a true powerhouse.

I can deny it, the only advantages you list are battery and force touch, hardly setting the world alight. The camera, screen and the fact it's Android are much bigger positives in my opinion. iOS is dated and really needs an overhaul.

No im not wrong, the fact your using TECHRADAR as a source LOL.
Anandtech is the best source for this information.
If you stop being ignorant and take a read at Anandtech but I guess since you read TechRadar it may not be in your league.
A9 Chip is a beast you cannot simply look at spec sheets and say its better, sigh.
"Overall, in benchmarks where CPU performance is a significant influence the iPhone 6s is pretty much at the very top of the stack. Of course, Apple has also had about 6-8 months of time since the launch of SoCs like the Snapdragon 810 and Exynos 7420 so this is at least partially to be expected. The real surprise and/or disappointment would be if future Exynos and Snapdragon SoCs continue to lag behind the A9 in CPU performance."
Memory read and write is also a beast akin to SSD unlike UFS 2.0 on S6
"At this point is almost goes without saying that storage performance is important, but in a lot of ways the testing here is still in its early days. In the case of the iPhone 6s we’ve discussed what distinguishes its storage solution from others in this industry, but for those that are unaware the iPhone 6s uses PCIe and NVMe instead of a UFS or eMMC storage solution. In a lot of ways, this makes the storage on board closer to the SSD that you might find in a more expensive PC"
"Overall, the Apple A9 SoC is the best SoC in any phone shipping today. In cases like web browsing, gaming, and even just going through the UI it’s quite evident that this new SoC is a major factor in improving performance and smoothness across the board. Something as simple as visiting some popular tech websites will show this, which really goes to show how much “specs” still matter due to their influence on user experience."
ULTIMATELY
You should really stop reading garbage like TechRadar and read true tech websites like Anandtech who thoroughly test specs and not just compare on face value lmao

If you can comprehend lots of technical jargon as to why its much better read the following review thorougly over and over till you understand :

get the samsung, no issues, buttery smooth, superior resolution and you save yourself some money.
I was just merely pointing out the iPhone specs >>> S6 in terms of inside chips.
