They won't (read this) and they probably won't (bring back the SD card slot) despite the fact a lot of people (including myself) will boycott this model due to this fact and that it also has a integrated battery.

what he said. but a lot of cost goes into expanding the data networks for the phone providers too. they are permanently upgrading their networks to provide for future data use. and then there is the upgrading for 5g coming. .. etc etc. .. it's not as cheap as you think.
*i agree though data should still be much cheaper! !!
