Some people would rather deal with JL than Currys ok £10 more but as I'm sure you know they will price match. For the same money I know who I would prefer for CS.

Sorry only just spotted the post. If you're still needing to know I called them zero's, and unfortunately have had to use the warranty so that seemed to be right.

[quote=Mark3270]Just bought a 9kg, 1400 skin Ecobubble machine (WW90J6410CW) direct from AO.com, at £529 but by the time all the cashback has been claimed it will come in @ £334.
Hi Mark,
You did well to get to £334, as I can only find the £20 AO discount with £75 cashback claimable from Samsung, which nets to £434. How did you achieve the extra £100?
Many Thanks!

Our 4 month old Ecobubble has become incredibly noisy in spin. On closer inspection, there were black rubber filings under the machine. Taking the back panel off revealed that that the rubber bushes round the motor mounts had totally disintegrated.
Apparently after booking a repair via Samsung, there was a bad batch of rubber mounting bushes fitted to the motors. Samsung are just waiting for peeps to ring in for a repair!
So if your machine is REALLY noisy take a peak in the back.
Cannot say I am that impressed at all.
I await the repairman, and have a good few questions to ask !

Got it from JL - always great service.

Sounds rights for these jokers. Mother in law had a delivery of a freezer. They then tried to deliver again but she already had it. Then they didn't take away the old one. They then sent a plumber twice to plumb in the washing machine she never had instead of collecting the old freezer for recycling

Not that good a deal TBH, I got the newer model for £365 inc all cashbacks with the digital inverter (no belt) and it is very quiet.
From what I can see, this is still belt driven.

I've had one for about 9 months and I can't fault it. Excellent machine!
Seems like a decent deal, the ecobubble feature does actually seem to be more than just a marketing gimmick and really does make a difference to stain removal from the reviews I read when looking for a new machine. Which? recommend some of the Samsung machines as best buys. At this price with a 5 year warranty I think it looks like a good purchase.

I've got one of these, just bought it last month at £430. Haven't noticed any noise. If you want a Miele - get a Miele. This is more about aesthetics than washing towels made of concrete.

Just bought a 9kg, 1400 skin Ecobubble machine (WW90J6410CW) direct from AO.com, at £529 but by the time all the cashback has been claimed it will come in @ £334. Comes with the usual 5years parts & labour warranty, and also a 10year warranty on the motor (Digital Inverter).
Instructions specifically state to run the Calibration Program once it's installed, and I've noticed that when you put a load in and set the program running, it spins the drum slowly, in a couple of directions to ascertain the weight, and I presume adjusts the spin speed accordingly - see below

"Inverter Technology in Washing Machines
Inverter technology has been revolutionary in saving electricity in most appliances that have a motor. The benefit of this technology is that it makes the machine run at a speed which is optimum based on the load on the machine. A conventional washing machine has a motor that is designed for a fixed load and operates most efficiently when run at the optimum load. But a washing machine with inverter technology allows the motor to operate at a speed that is optimum for the load in the washing machine.
A washing machine with inverter technology has sensors that detect the loading of the washing machine. Based on the load, the electronic circuit determines the optimum speed at which the motor should be run to optimize electricity use. To have variable speeds the washing machines have a VFD or Brushless DC motors that allows optimum use of electricity at variable speeds.
So if you use washing machine with different load sizes on a regular basis, a washing machine with inverter technology can help"

I've got one of these, paid £399 about 6 months ago. Great looking washing machine, stylish. It does a great job too - I don't have an issue with any noise but then I guess if you live in a smaller residence you might notice it a bit more.
A great purchase at £369. I like Samsung as a company overall. I've slowly buying lots more of their products, TV's, Audio, washing machines, fridges. Never had an issue with any of their products.

I have newer WF80F5EBW4W model and very pleased with it. Miele probably better but for twice the price is it worth?
Don't be fooled by £549 price, it is pretty standard for this model and it was £307 in Currys in September (after discount codes and best possible cashback) .
